⚠️⚠️As of now, models are only available in the shop.

⚠️Please take a minute to read if you're new to my models.

1. You need to install the 2 addons provided

Both daz addon and UI addon are required.

If you see two UI panels on a model, only the one calle "LeGuymelef UI" must be used : some older models have a panel called "character name + UI" that should be ignored.

2. The shared textures are needed for all models

Them being shared, you can extract them once on your drive and then use it on all models with the "find missing files". Just point to the folder where you extracted them.

Packages comes in 2 resolutions, 2K or 4K. Choose one or the other depending on your hardware.

Male shared textures are only necessary if you use male models.

Some textures are identical between male and female shared packages so I recommend extracting them in the same place to avoid duplicates on your hard drive.

3. ️Requirements

  • Blender 4.2+

  • LeGuymelef UI in its latest version (v2.2.3)

  • Daz addon v4.2

  • Female shared textures and/or Male shared textures in their latest version

5. FAQ :

Q: Can I get updates for models even if I'm not a patron anymore ? -> A: Yes for minor updates (fixes). As long as you kept the download link, it can be used to redownload the updated model. Models' release posts have a changelog. Major updates (usually complete remakes) are considered as new models so, unless you've got a link for that version, you won't be able to access it.

Q: IK doesn't work at all -> A: 1) Make sure you're using the unified UI (LeGuymelef UI panel) and 2) make sure you're using the IK switch button and not just showing the IK bones from the armature layer

Q: Knees don't bend in IK -> A: Switch back to FK, use the clear pose button, then switch back to IK

Q: Knees and elbows are wonky in IK mode -> A: Click on the fix button in IK/FK section of the UI

Q: Lips look weird -> A: Make sure you're using the latest version of the UI

Q: Hair or eyes look weird on cycles -> A: If you're using latest UI version, re-select at least once the render engine, otherwise you should update the UI

Q: Textures are weird or body is all shiny -> A: You're probably missing the shared textures, follow instructions above

Q: Do I need both the shared textures and the ones that come with the model ? -> A: Yes

Q: Hair has black patches on cycles -> A: Increase the transparency bounces

Q: Do you take commissions -> A: No

Q: How to append models -> A : Append the collections named as the character + hair + hidden + mannequin. Optionally, also append desired outfit collections. Once appended, hide the "hidden" and "mannequin" collections (checkbox). Then choose a hair and outfit from the UI.

Q: Body clips through clothes -> A: Please consider AAA games have clipping despite involving hundreds of people, years of work, millions of $ and a limited amount of animations. On the other hand there's me vs unlimited motion possibilities plus changeable body shapes. So yeah, sorry, clipping is going to happen. Best two ways to fix it are either creating a mask on the body to hide some parts, or use sculpting on the clothes (recommended).

Q: Textures are pink --> A: Oh come on!

How do I install the textures? The guide isn't really clear on that.

I'm trying to do an append so I can have two models in same scene. But I am unable to find the script. For the step: Also append the script called mustard_ui_charactername

Ok, it looks like I don't need to find this script if I just append to one model with those 3 collections. I believe that instruction was for pre-Blender 4.0

One thing that i realized a lot in the last weeks of animating is that i would really like for you to add a IK/FK switch for single legs/arms. Currently you only have one to switch both at the same time. But while animating it is pretty common to have for example one hand free and the other to hold on to or grab something where i would likw to have for example the right hand ik and the left fk. Same for the legs when i want 1 leg to be planted firmly but the other one not. So yeah if you could someday add these finer fk/ik controls it would be appreciated. Or tell me how to do it with the UI if i'm just not realizing you can already:)

Having trouble with the trilla model, have latest textures and add-ons and blender but it still looks shiny and weird, I use both types of textures the ones that come with the model and the shared ones so maybe that's the problem, the trilla model was made in 2022 also

LeGuymelef

Just tried it, works fine for me. Check what textures blender tells you are missing and start from there, or try another model, if it's the same it means it's on your end.

I'm not very clear on where to put the addon and texture files exactly? I've read the instructions a few times and it still isn't any clearer?

I might be blind, but I don't see Yennefer in either tier 1 or 2.

Guy

Thank you! I think my browser wasn't loading the bottom of the page for whatever reason...or, you know, I'm blind.

I want to use the pose library as a model with only a body without accessories. I'm going to look at the muscles and poses and refer them to modeling. But I don't know how to use it even if I check how to use it. If possible, could you make a video of how to use it? If not, is there a video that I can refer to?

LeGuymelef

You can easily find tutorials that explain how to use the pose libraries on youtube.
