this is my 2nd favorite itzy title after icy! i was thrown off by the chorus at first but its really grown on me so much!

Oh i see a lot of Itzy's fan reaction disappointed of Sneakers but i'm glad your like it! I'm not of Itzy's fan, their song is too loud for me but Sneakers i love it when the majority of Itzy's fan is disappointed by this song, i saw a negative review that it's like a sneaker's CF i agree but i like the song and the buid-up of the song is so good! Fans of Itzy said that this song sounds childish in a negative way, for jjust child and i disagree! Most of Itzy's fan love their old badass loud title track, i hate it and now the majority didn't like Sneakers, it's okay i love it! I haven't the taste of the majority, that's me too in movies and i'm okay even i disagree fans of k-pop called Sneakers the worst comeback, worst song, not for me, best song for me!

When i heard the harmony and the song, it reminds me Twice's kind of song and Nayeon's voice, Twice could sing this song well and i love the part with Lia, the build-up part is my favorite, ah finally i find a Itzy's song that i like, a sweet song, not a loud song that i can't hear and listen!

not my fav tt of them, not shy it's still number 1. although I agree with you about the prechorus, the chorus just isn't my cup of tea I think.

I'm not a hardcore Itzy fan, but I enjoy most of their music. This is definitely one of my favorite title tracks by them! I had no idea it was 'unpopular' and I don't really get it

people really hate this song, but i am a huge midzy and i really love it. its not my favorite title track (wannabe is my forever #1) but i really enjoy sneakers, and the checkmate b-sides are phenomenal

Loved the looks this comeback, got some good bsides on the album too! Don’t think the title track is for me but why spread hate if some people wanna enjoy it you know—like PD always says there’s no need to put comments out there if you got nothing good to say about a release

As someone who wasn't the biggest fan of LOCO, I actually loved this title track. The album is also insanely good, I recommend checking it out. I still think Voltage is their best song in terms of recent releases (I swear JYP Japan debuts hit different), but Checkmate was such a nice surprise overall. I don't really understand the hate it's getting, it's definitely not revolutionary but it sounds like them and that's all I need!

I loved the comeback ! I wouldn't call it my favorite cb from itzy but I really liked it. A lot of international fans didn't like it but I feel like JYP wanted this cb to appeal itzy again in korea and sneakers is doing really well in kcharts compare to their latest cb

honestly? probably my least favorite ITZY tt. i don't hate it by any means, but it def just kinda felt like a regression in sound. esp when compared to the b-sides on this piece, those are some of their best. and in case you missed it, the marketing just felt wild- they went from having a very royal/regal look, centering around chess; to when the release schedule dropped- a 90's Sketchers ad-esque vibe. many were confused, lol

Loved your reaction to this I hope you will react to the EP.. Sneakers was clearly meant as a summer song, they have said this repeatedly on shows and interviews. And SORRY Western fans, this was more for the Korean GP who absolutely are eating this MV and song up.. Western kpop fans are concept and story driven these days, they care more about a back story or imagery than the music itself and that ultimately could be the downfall of it's popularity. Trying to be all things to all people instead of just being good music.. ITZY is just making good music.. That being said, this was a MV shot by a female director that heavily focused on women in positions of authority or leading the way, a time travel story of ITZY making sure people had their sneakers so they could live free and move forward. Relatively simple but powerful. Thank You I am back as patreon and I hope to see an album listen soon ..

This wasn't for you then. It was more for us in Korea. The only confusion was on the part of people who incorrectly assumed the song was going to be one thing.. MUSIC is MUSIC, it need not fit a concept or have a back story to be enjoyed. If someone must understand a ton of lore to find meaning in a song it is a failure. I just want good music. PERIOD at the end of the day it's just music.. And that is enough. If you don't enjoy it, don't listen to it.. I don't listen to anything by Aespa, their music isn't for me, it is not meant for me, I don't enjoy it. But I don't go around commenting on their videos or songs about how I "DON'T" like it.

Once you listen to the rest of the album, I think you're gonna really like Racer. It's easily my favorite song from the comeback
