Pd, I don't know what changed in the last 24 hours, but all the new reactions posted on vimeo aren't accessible anymore, if not via direct link

DreamyStateOfMind

The old ones yes, no trouble there, it asks for the password normally. But everything starting from the Blackpink Jimmy Kimmel reaction, everything after shows up as not available. At least on mobile. Haven't checked on desktop.

It took a couple listens for me to get a feel for this song, but once I did, I'm really digging it. High energy and a lot of fun. Glad to see you enjoyed it too.

2023-06-21 09:50:19 This was really good. I haven't been this consistently in love with JP releases since SNSD's JP albums a decade or so ago (damn). Voltage reigns supreme for the sheer surprise of it and the aesthetic in general imo, but JYP is doing a formidable job promoting their groups in Japan by giving their sound a touch of something new without making them completely unfamiliar or uncharacteristic. I really like how aggressive, unapologetic and "in-your-face" Voltage and Blah Blah Blah sound. The lyrics stay pretty faithful to Itzy's message of self-confidence and doing your own thing btw. One of the lines in the chorus literally goes, "Who's the main character? That's right, us." The whole song is basically addressed at their haters: Ryujin sings about people ”who are all mouth" and "everyone thinks they're righteous", while Chaeryeong & Yeji mimic the noise they make by singing, " 'Haven't you reached your limit?' 'That's a bad choice' ".

Voltage was my favorite since Wannabe and I think I like this slightly more than Voltage

memewei

i cant find the voltage reaction video :')

Tobi

Ok, so Voltage being one of the best songs released in 2022 wasnt a fluke. In fact, Blah Blah Blah topped it... amazing

Blah blah blah, along with voltage, are my favorite itzy title tracks by faaar. Btw, please do a listening party to Checkmate!

Incheonguy

Thank you for sharing this. I would love to see you react to ITZY's new reality show. ITZY@LA that I suspect you may have known about in advance.

Incheonguy

You mean the FULL SINGLE album with this track and a bside and instrumentals for both? That is not a full album.. it's just a b-side.

Incheonguy

Don't quote lyrics from lyric channels or sites that use google to translate them. Google is notorious for really screwing up Japanese and Korean song lyrics since the format isn't in grammatical sentences. Sorry..

Joana

I didn't quote anything from anywhere, I literally know Japanese. The only thing I'm on the fence about is the part they sing in English, but otherwise their pronunciation is pretty clear. Don't assume things, it's a little rude, even if I understand your scepticism.

WiseSmellyLegs

Yes, Voltage was their first original Japanese song. They did Japanese versions of their previous songs before Voltage as well.

PM

Funny you say it felt Ryujin heavy when its one of their fairest line distributions but fair enough, she did stand out a lot

SeleenaArtStudio

I didn't know itzy made their Japanese debut but when I saw this video dropped I fell in love. Blah blah blah is one of my top itzy songs now.
