648 Desperate Prison Break (Patreon)

In Desperate Prison Break, the party has found its way into the prison system. Unfortunately for them, this is not a common jail. It has been reinforced with magic wards, traps, and incantations for security. They are now in the cells, weak and dispossessed. However, after a while, they may be able to take advantage of a mistake by their jailers and break out before facing the ruthless king's justice.

When they attempt their escape, they shall inevitably trigger the silent alarm spells that the mage jailer set up. The mage chooses an advantageous location to confront the characters as his reputation is at risk of collapsing if they manage to escape. Alternatively, the prison has a vault where a sentient blade awaits. It may beckon the characters to approach as it yearns for glory and adventure!

This adventure allows the heroes to break from a well-protected prison, confronts them with a powerful mage with the crown's favor, and gives them the opportunity to acquire a sentient blade that may well change their adventuring lives!
