Fightful talked to former AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa at the AEW All In Texas: Countdown To On Sale event at Global Life Park in Arlington, Texas.

Rosa spoke with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp about her career, the AEW's women's division, and her aspirations for the future. Below, they discuss her thoughts on the industry, her growth, and her wanting to help uplift other women's wrestlers.

Sean begins the interview by saying to Rosa, "Texas holds a special place in your heart." She said, "It's very special. I'm really putting this into the air—an opportunity next year in July to possibly have a championship match with whoever the champion is at the time." Rosa recalled the moment in her career when she was crowned AEW Women's World Champion in San Antonio when she beat Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. She described the significance of that victory, adding that the moment was very special.

Rosa spoke about AEW's women's division and voiced her frustrations about the criticisms claiming the division is "dead and buried." She emphasized the need for someone who truly cares about the division's success. (Writer's Note: Thunder Rosa is referring to Mariah May's comment from her interview on AEW Dynamite in early December.)

She mentioned her concerns about selfishness and loyalty. Thunder told Sean, "Mariah has shown there is no loyalty to anyone. She's stabbed people [in the back] twice already to be where she wants to be. I don't think that's who should represent the division right now." She added that they need someone who has been there, done it, and cares for others. Rosa followed up by saying that would be her.

Rosa speaks about her journey and credits her success to her passion for helping others.

Rosa mentions how she tries to make an impact by mentoring up-and-coming talent, mainly through Mission Pro Wrestling, which she is a co-owner of.

She says she wants to leave an impact. "I try to mentor as much as possible. The more we support each other; not superficially but on a spiritual level; the more we grow together."

Rosa discussed how she balances creativity and consistency in her presentation. When Sean asked how she keeps her look fresh, she revealed, "I'm an artist. I like to make it fun and different. But in professional wrestling, you have to have a style."

In closing, Thunder Rosa reflected on the company's progress over the past five years, and she told Sean, "We're here today at Globe Life Field, and I truly believe in what we've done. There are so many people in the locker room who want this to succeed and go to the next level. We want to be part of that growth."
