Top indie name discussed for AEW (Patreon)

A top independent name could be back in the fold at AEW.

Fightful Select has learned that GCW regular Megan Bayne has been diacussed within AEW, with a claim that she's at AEW Dynamite, which is taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio. We're working to verify that.

Notably, news of Bayne signing with AEW emerged back in November 2023. In the summer of 2024, there was some chatter around possible creative pitches surrounding Bayne before it was learned that she was no longer under contract with the company.

Bayne has previously competed in a number of matches for AEW, with nearly all of them being taped for episodes of AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation.

As of publish time, Bayne last wrestled for the company in June 2023, teaming with Emi Sakura against Maki Itoh and Willow Nightingale for a dark match after an AEW Rampage taping.
