There have been no indications that Corey Graves has told people his situation is a work, contrary to some reports. In fact, people close to him have played it up as very real.
PWInsider have reported that Tyler Bate is expected back sometime soon and will be on the RAW brand. Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has also learned that Bate’s comeback is imminent, as word in December pointed to a Bate return in late January or early February.
We have interviews with Swoggle and Missa Kate dropping next week
Myla Grace Interview Notes
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan recently sat down with Myla Grace to discuss her time in Marigold, working with Giulia and what comes next for her in 2025.
Myla began by discussing how much she had wanted to travel to Japan prior to working with Marigold, and had been working towards it since her days in NXT UK. She noted that originally, she was offered just a few months with Marigold, but was extended to 8 months, as a year was deemed too long. Myla stated that she could not stress enough how much she enjoyed her time in Japan. On her favorite matches of her time in Marigold, Myla pointed to a pair of main event matches where she said she felt like she belonged.
Myla noted that it was ‘so cool’ to be involved in Giulia’s final gauntlet match in Marigold, and that she was fired up for the event. Myla also noted that Giulia was extremely helpful during her fractured wrist injury, and was always present to offer advice at shows despite being injured. Finishing off the discussion of her time in Japan, Myla noted that she feels like Marigold is her home, and she hopes to return in the future, and if the door opens to work in other Japanese promotions, she would hope to work there also. Myla also did note that one of the biggest things about working in Japan was dropping her signature pig tails.
Myla would then list off several women in Europe that she wants to cross path with, including the likes of Rhio, Nina Samuels and more across the continent, but also spoke about her desire to also crossover into the American scene, pointing out most of her merch orders come from the States.
Elsewhere in the interview, Myla teased a return to OTT in the future, as well as other future dates that are yet to be announced.
Giovanni Giorgio Interview Notes
Fightful’s Corey Brennan recently sat down with Giovanni Girgio to discuss announcing his relationship with Connor Mills, PW Ceasefire and more. You can check out the early notes from the interview below.
To open the interview, Corey asked Gio about his hectic 2024 and what comes next in 2025. Gio revealed that he would be making his promotional debut for Pro Wrestling NOAH and Marigold at the start of 2025, two opportunities he is really excited for in the near future. Gio also told the story of how he almost announced all of the G1 Climax this year.
Gio also spoke about the effect of burnout, and how he hoped to address this in his 2025 schedule of shows. Speaking on working with Connor Mills, Gio highlighted eight years of friendship between the pair since they met while training for the ring, while also noting his excitement for what comes next for Mills. Gio also picked Mills and Jay Joshua to take the Undisputed British Tag Team Championships from Sunshine Machine on December 21st.
On RevPro, Gio did note that if he is done with the promotion he is more than happy with how he left things, noting that Dave Bradshaw is a fantastic talent to be in the booth for the company. Gio also highlighted the growth of Pro Wrestling Ceasefire, noting that he doesn’t view PW Ceasefire as a promotion, more of a series of shows. Gio hoped that by the end of 2025, they can raise over 10,000 pounds for the Palestinian people.
Speaking on working with OTT, Gio highlighted announcing alongside Simon Hill in the UK for Nic Nemeth’s TNA World Title defense at ScrapperMania, and talent such as Scotty Davis. Gio also stated that a goal of his in 2025 is to hit a Canadian Destroyer on someone.
