WWE Tryout Planned For Europe (Patreon)

A WWE tryout is scheduled for this year in Europe.

Throughout the course of the WWE ID announcements, Fightful Select were asked about European talent quite a bit, with no European talents being approached with WWE ID deals at the time. Now, we know a little more as to why.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has now learned that the company will be hosting a tryout in the early days of March later this year for UK and European talents. The tryout will be based in London. Several names of the UK indie scene have drawn attention from WWE, with Rhio, Tate Mayfairs, Damian Corvin and more being invited to events in the past year. Several major talents in the UK were unaware of the tryout when we reached out.

Talent from wXw, OTT and PROGRESS are all expected to take part in this tryout. A recent signing from a tryout would be NXT’s Zaria, who was offered a contract following a tryout in Australia prior to last year’s Elimination Chamber event.

Talent have till February 28th to apply for this tryout, per WWE.
