This gent uses the ol' "yawn 'n' reach" to get cosy with his date.
Skinner attempts to replicate this, but to no avail.
It is consistent with Skinner's characterisation that he would not have known to do a move so common that it has its own TV Tropes page. In his defence, Abe also needs Homer to teach him it in season 5's "Lady' Bouvier's Lover":
But in Skinner's UNdefence, an alien from another planet knows this move instinctually in "Treehouse of Horror IX":
In season 15's "The Way We Weren't", a young Homer believes he came up with the move independently. We cannot say for sure if this is true, and he is in fact the world's first person to come up with it.
Can we determine from this whether the "yawn 'n' reach" method is commonly known within the Simpsons universe? Results are inconclusive.
