Simpson and Delilah - round up! (Patreon)

Still very much enjoying our journey through season 2 - I dare say this is even the best episode we have covered yet! That's probably not saying much, but it's true. Despite that, not many important characters here - basically only Karl has any lasting legacy, and even he is only voiced in this episode.

Of course, the elephant in the room is the second episode in a row with a NCHC of 0%. I don't know what's happening here, if their hat budget simply ran out in season 2, or if hats were banned by higher ups in the production staff. Maybe the technology to draw hats regressed in the middle of 1990, I don't know. Dr Boyle's alternate appearance had a hat, so we'll give this episode a participation trophy. Everyone loves those, right?

We met 19 new characters in this episode. We've covered 273 overall! That's crazy!

I think this is all the unique hairstyles Homer dons in this episode. There are a couple of slight variations of these, but this is basically it - we won't be seeing Homer with hair again for a while, so it seemed worth documenting.

If you know what the next episode is, you're probably marvelling at my incredible scheduling skills and how I've managed to line this up. Well, don't give me that much credit, it's a complete fluke. But what a fluke!
