Sketchbook Update 71 (Patreon)

I may have gone overboard this month...
ALSO I realise most of this is shared online, but I figure not everyone keeps up with social media, and hopefully the sketch process and unposted bits are still interesting for people that have seen the art already! Again i'm sorry it's all one fandom aha....

As you can see sometimes my sketches are basically thumbnails, I've been swinging between 'plan it out in the sketch phase' and 'wing it in the ink phase' and it's been fun to do the latter recently. I'm really really trying to be looser with my art, I keep seeing cartoony expressive styles and BOY am I jealous haha. I don't know how interesting these are to non-artists, but I included some of the really rough sketches so you can see how I did most of it in the inking.

My traditional art has taken a hit this month though, I've left my embarrassing angry sketches in, I feel like such a coward when I can't undo and I really need to be braver! And also I keep going into my sketchbook like 'just draw something!' and getting mad when I can't magically think of something good to draw without doing a plan or sketch first. what a surprise! *rolls my eyes*
