Announcement 11/1/19 (Patreon)

Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone in on something I've been considering lately. This November is set to be a long form month but if last month was any indication, I've been feeling a little out of form lately.  I plan on taking a few weeks off this November just to decompress and figure out where I'm trying to go as far as my writing. 

That said, I'm not simply sitting on my butt during this break. This break will be unlike the others. I have a few projects that I'll be excited to make note of here:

1) More activity on Twitter. I heard everyone's poll loud and clear and I fully intend on providing new ways to engage with my content. Entering the social media sphere is scary, but I want more ways of communicating with you guys and announcing my upcoming work. During the break, I'll be brainstorming methods to being more present and providing content of various sizes to appeal to Instagram, DA, and Patreon. Right now, I've got ideas for blurbs, shorty shorts, quickies, and captions. Plenty more where that comes from.

2) Shift in Content. I've recently become aware that maybe I've been trying to wear too many hats. Nun of lactation, yuri, expansion, romance, and erotica forces me into a hit-or-miss writing style. After a little contemplation, I've decided to reevaluate and refocus myself so that I'm not trying to balance so many elements in each story. To this effort, some of my stories will be romance focused, others erotica focused, and others fetish focused. I'll likely tag them so people know which is which and I'll write more of certain stories based on reception and my own personal pleasure. Some will obviously blend together at times, but the overall goal is reader satisfaction. I don't want a person picking up a story of mine, hoping for a good sexy time, and for them to run into some lesbian drama. It isn't the worst thing, but it isn't the best thing. 

3) A website. Yea, it's been a long time coming, but I feel the growing pains hard and I feel that it's time to at least create a website for myself. DA's limits on writing make it hard to post anything there and the organization isn't as I would prefer. As a person with 200+ devations, it's impossible at times to reference older stories for me and I Can only imagine it's the same for you all. I'm no wizard at blogs or webpages, but I'll be taking this break to explore my options. I'll also take feedback, since you all are just as responsible for the epicness of a saintlimey.com as I would be. I have a few ideas for what the site should include (schedule of posts, progress on WIPs, patreon donation button embedded so people don't need to access this laggy site, better mobile integration for people who read on the go, etc.). Definitely have more ideas but I'm always open. Send me any advice you may have.

4) Venturing outside of Erotica. My goal has always been to write and writing about tits is literally the best thing a person like myself could ask for. That said, I've always wanted to write regular novels too and while I take a break from fetish writing for a few weeks, I plan on using the time away to try and craft a non-erotic, fantasy, young adult/new adult  styled story. I've already outlined it, given it a name, and will be pecking words into the zero draft during this month to celebrate NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writer's Month). When/if I finish this story, I have every intention of editing it rigorously and publishing it under a new pseudonym. When/if that time comes, I hope you'll support it's release. It's a cute idea, if I do say so. I'll definitely have something in there for those who have supported me thus far. Wish me luck as I shoot for 50k words this month. 

5) Collabs with other writers and artists. I think the BE community is seeing a bit of a reassurance. It's pretty neat! And I'd like to start shouting out/collabing with a few other writers in some fun projects on the side. If we could include some art in the mix, that would be super fun too, but just doing more things together, I think, would be a fun improvement. 

6) Alternative content. I just wanted to spend some time doing research on a few alternative ways to consume fetish material and I'm surprised to find a lot of unexplored space. This is a less refined idea so I won't go into too many details on my thought process, but when I return I'll likely have a better idea of something things that I would like for you all to take polls on and decide about. Less exciting, I know, but I've been wanting to take the next step for a while and now I might actually find the time to do so. And, ofc, I'd only take that step if I could confer with you all about it first. 

There! I think that's plenty. Hope you all are as excited as I am. I'll be putting in some work this break, so stay tuned for my return. I'll likely have a story ready before the month is out, cutting the content down from 2 long pieces to 1, but I do hope that you all understand why. I've just gotta take a step back for a short while so I can take a step forward.
