Taking this week off for Mental Health (Patreon)

Hey guys!

So I've liked this rhythm of uploads and it's been going well over on the DA side of things. This weekend, though, I went through a really rough time as far as depression and anxiety. Good news is that I'm through it and I have plans to talk to a professional about it. 

And there's no real bad news. I guess just feeling super depressed was bad enough. 

Anyway, I hope it is okay with you guys that I take this week off. I wouldn't have felt the need to do so but a lot of people close to me sorta alarmed me to how sucky my personal mental care is. I'll also likely meet with the therapist tomorrow so there's that going for me, too. I just feel I need a day or two to really recalibrate and digest what went wrong that might be leading to depressive episodes. 

I also don't want this to alarm any of you guys. I think I'll be fine. I've survived this long and this far without too much trouble, but it's gotten pretty bad lately--meaning my depression and meaning during COVID-19 and everything else going on in the world--and probably requires some more attention. Hence this break. 

Again, sorry for burdening you all with this news and inconveniencing you all by not posting.  I'll be radio silent tomorrow, but should be around after that. If you need anything, message me or comment and I'll see it when I get back. 

Also, if you or someone you know struggles with mental illness, I, of course, strongly recommend that they talk to someone and seek professional treatment. It's no joke and grand swaths of my life have had the pleasure sucked out of them because of poor mental health and personal mental care. If you can relate in any way, I recommend talking to people. Like, talk to a LOT of people, particularly about your feelings. 

See a professional, which is what I've waited years to do because I've been stubborn.
