working from home is amazing but the day we can both work from home are actually magic. i was gonna take the morning off of work to fix my car but it looks like mother nature had other plans. that's okay, the other plans are so much better.

Why’re you giving up coffee, you crazy fool?! It’s the one way I bargain myself out of bed. Thank you for acknowledging the joy we get from beard rubs & that you kept it long because of this, that was very sweet. The jealousy I got at “I’m just going to work on my car, it’s been making a weird noise.” I could never 😭. The only thing I really know what to do with it is drive it. I just pray my mechanic doesn’t rip me off. Rain in summer is 🥲. It rains so much here that summer is my reprieve & my reward.

That coffee sip is like “can I have a few of your fries” 😂. But I’m way meaner about my coffee. I had a teacher when I was young who had like 4 cups a day & I was always mystified as to why she needed that much. I GET IT NOW

Dialing back the intensity of the coffee/milk ratio is a good way to quit. That’s how I did it when I was trying to cut back on caffeine. You still have the satisfaction of having a whole cup, but you’re still weaning yourself. Then I realized I was robbing myself of my wake up reward & so went back to 1000 real quick. 😂 That’s the way I know I’m getting sick or my period is coming - I can’t stand the smell/taste of coffee. Other than that I’ll enjoy my hug in a mug thanks ☺️ Edit: @Ash when said you weren’t as nice about sharing fries, it reminded me of Friends. “JOEY DOESN’T SHARE FOOD!” 😂
