If you set aside a "gambling budget". You can have fun with it. Especially in vegas. I think its just that "rush" you get from being moments away from your life changing.

I do gamble a bit, but never with lottery tickets. Only when I'm in Vegas at the slots. Usually I have $150 freeplay from the casino, plus about $400 of my own money that I set aside. Most of the time I break even, or win about $200 - $300 extra. I did hit 12k once at The Bellagio, but that was years ago. Hasn't happened again since.
