One of the big concerns I have for this comic is how well I'll be able to sell the relationship between Ares and Sylara.

Primarily, this story is about Sylara, rather than just her romance. That's why I decided to have their relationship already pre-established rather than building up to it like in a regular romance manga/comic.

That said, my plan is to show them affectionate with one another here (hopefully without be overbearing), and then having a moment in the future where they're challenged and choose to stand up for one another. But that means that instead of the reader getting an instant fondness for the two, they'll have to trust me for awhile and wait.

It's a bunch of tough small choices, but in the end, I really wanted this to be a story about conflict rather than just gooey feelings.
