The backstory he mentions in this audio just came to me as I was speaking and I can't stop thinking about them and after recording had such an urge to draw but couldn't share anything about them until this audio came out. I've been having to scream about them to myself and my partner for weeeeeks. I'm in love with him and Mathias.

Johann is lovely to listen to, there's something about his low tone and the rhythm of his voice that's really soothing, I could listen to him talk for hours about anything. There's so much sweetness and kindness underneath all his flirting, it's so cute to hear him stumble through certain things... Showing the listener his library, stocking up on human things... And the lore! The world building is so interesting, the fledgling and the bounty hunter and Mathias, and the world of beasts and such (the commentary about why vamps are perceived the way they are, he's onto something I get him). I'm so interested and so excited. I also really like how he talked about Mathias, it's really sweet the way he keeps Mathias with him [edit: fledermaus...him calling the listener 'mouse'...that's so cute]

fledermaus is german for bat. but the literal translation is flying-mouse, which is why you might have been incorrectly told it means mouse.
