Ramble

Hellooooo everyone!  Time for this week's update. We reached a major milestone this week as I wrapped up the revision of Chapter 10. All that remains is to edit and finish drafting the ending scenarios for each character. (～￣▽￣)～

Writing

I finished editing Yren chapter 10. Chapter 10, the monster chapter...is DONE.

The finished chapter is about 89,000 words when coded (it was 93k before coding). The longest chapter by far. So now all the common content is edited, proofread, and formatted into Renpy. 

I also revised and formatted Asher's ending chapters. And now I have some NUMBERS.

A "route" (meaning Asher's specific content, and NOT including the common content) is about 80,000 words. Huzzah

The total game word count is 575,000 words (this is the uncoded count. . . FOR NOW! 💪💪 LoL

So now I'm moving on to work on all the remaining endings. And I'm in the middle of revising Daaz's stuff.

Art 

Got a new BG sketch from one of the artists. dramatic music

And I've been working on some CGs. I did a CG for Yren! Then I realised that I left inaccurate notes for myself and did it wrong.

And it's not really fixable. (Yren is doing the completely wrong thing in the image. LoL).

So yeah. That happened.

I've also been working on a Raif CG (because I didn't have the heart to re-do the Yren one yet).

Upcoming Week

I should quickly wrap up Daaz's endings and will then move on to working on the others. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to finish drafting the remaining ending content. Certainly more than a week. But that's what I'll be working on during my next update for sure.

I am trying to make myself spend 2-3 hours drawing each evening so I can slowly tap away at the CGs for chapter two.

I've been wrapped up in writing for so long and I still have a fair amount of writing let to finish but first, I need a break from it. and second I think it's just good to make myself do other things as well.

I only have one additional sprite that I need for the early chapters and I've been putting it off for a while now. But at some point I need to design and draw Cim as well (this is the engineering assistant and Kayto's girlfriend/partner).

At some point I'll be doing that, but not this week. Ha ha. I think I'll finish up Raif's CG this week though.
