Hello everyone! Sorry for the slightly delayed update. For those on my server, you know it was a really rough week. Ha ha. 

They are doing construction two houses down from us on both sides. Putting in a pool on one side and demolishing a house on another.

It's been incredibly loud early every morning which is a bad combination with insomnia.

End result, I'm exhausted. Well and truly.

It's been hard to work on things because I'm so tired it's genuinely difficult to focus. I deal with a lot of fatigue on a good day but this week I've been a complete zombie. I tried to write this yesterday and literally just couldn't remember what work I'd even done.

So here is a short update for you all!

Summary

• I finished Daaz's final CG for this episode

• Coded the CG (always a fun time for CGs with Wil in them)

• Moved onto Kav's final CG

• Coded all the Music, SFX, expressions, etcfor the bonus scene for Chapter Two

Art 

I finished up Daaz's CG this week. I think the hair layering experiment worked in terms of being slightly easier to manage file-wise. At least for this CG. I'm not sure about future ones though.

But for this CG it reduced the number of hair files by a factor of four, so that is good at least.

But it is complete and coded and I have moved on to Kav's final CG, which is another one that depicts Wil.

This is another one where it turns out that Wil's face is likely to be hidden by a lot of the hairstyles. So it'll be on the easier side along with Raif's, but still more work than a solo CG.

I am currently working on lining Wil's 8 hairstyles. 

Then I will move on to colour flats and rendering.

Coding and Other Stuff

This week I coded the bonus scene in terms of facial expressions. Which, because it's a group scene, that did take a while but it's all complete now.

And I coded the Daaz CG which wasn't quite as much of a pain as I thought it would be with the hair layering. So that's good.

Upcoming Week

My goal for the upcoming week is to finish Kav's CG and start the next one. CGs and a few small corrections are, I think, the only thing I have left for this episode.

I intend to release Patreon early access before Christmas but I do not think I will have all the CGs complete at that time. 

I believe I will still have Noel and Yren to finish up. CGs are just taking a bit longer this time due to a combination of real life shenanigans and the fact that Wil appears in them and those just take longer.

Hair 5, man. It kills my hand. Oof.
