Hi everyone! Time for this week's update.

This Week's Summary:

• Worked on Reuben's draft (up to ch 12)

The Ramble:

The only thing I did this week was WRITE...(again).

Reuben's route is currently over 95,000 words and is around 85% drafted. And I'm about midway through Chapter 12.

Chapter 11 was a tough chapter because there's a bit of complex branching through one section and it took a couple of days to get through all of that. This was the most branched chapter in the route at 46% branched.

But I did finally manage to wrangle it all and get it set up.

I expect Ch 12 to be a little easier, but I didn't get very far into it because I was just so tired yesterday that I was struggling to focus.

Chapter 12 is more of a character chapter so I don't have to do as much juggling of events and stuff. Buuuut. It is where the first love scene happens. And those are always kind of tricky to manage.

Still, I expect that it'll be easy enough if I can hit a writing groove when I work on it...as long as I can have a writing day that doesn't involve me barely being able to stay awake.

Anyway, I am nearly done with Reuben's draft! Yay!

Upcoming Week:

Obviously this upcoming week, I will be working on Reuben's route. I expect to finish Chapter 12 and maaaaybe 13. It would be nice if I could just wrap up the route this week.

But Ch 13 is always the story climax, which always tends to take more time to write. So I don't think I'll get totally finished. But I will do my best.

It's a short update this week since I've just been writing and there's not too much to say about it.

I will see you all next week (and will hopefully be done or nearly done with the draft by then!)
