So his full korean name is Minhyung Lee? I guess since I seen Lee in his name I assumed Mark went both ways but that makes more sense lmao. Is the difference full korean lyrics on the other?

Yeah his Korean name is Minhyung but as far as I'm aware he doesn't really go by it? Minhyungs version is the acoustic version! It's really nice and I think it's sweet that it's a bit like....the core of mark. Mark as a musician really boils down to him singing and playing guitar. The way I interpreted it is Mark is the idol and Minhyung is just him at his purest.

Lol was not expecting the shout-out but heyyyy, thanks for checking this out!! Someone said 106 + 94 = 200 was his debut date or something like that. Maybe I'm stupid but the math ain't mathing for me 😭😭 I do think it's a bit like "you complete me" in an equation but I have zero clue what the specific numbers mean. I do think the rock metaphor is a bit like "you're solid" in terms of support and maybe even a reference to Everything Everywhere All At Once where they had a pretty significant rock scene. The spiderman scenes are a nod to him actually being Spiderman (shhh don't tell anyone) lol. You mentioned Child, did you ever watch it/listen to it? Okay I actually just found an interview about it and apparently it's just that they add to 200 but one is less than the other, kind of saying the other person is better than him. CHILD IS SO GOOD! it's just so :') I think anyone who has ever struggled with being an adult should listen to it

the numbers 106/94/200 scrambled a little actually give 04/09/2016 which is nct u's debut date! I also saw a thread explaining how the typography of 200 looks like 2GO that can be read like EGO (2 = ei in hangeul) so it's like Mark is splitting his personas between the idol Mark and himself Minhyung. With that in mind, the Minhyung version could sound like he's actually speaking to himself, Mark the idol. I thought it was a pretty clever move

Much of the Spiderman references came from the fact that the fans call Mark "Spidermark" because he has really good reflexes and honestly just has a similar personality to Peter Parker, and this has been long-running forever (like the Gordan Ramsey egg thing from his last song) so the fans were excited!
