I lovedd this ep !! I’m wondering the same as you abt taesung, I’m sure they’ll address it in future eps but I have no idea why he was outside of her building esp since they haven’t given us any insight into his future yet also I’m so curious abt how this show will end, esp after hearing hyunjoo talk abt how she wouldn’t mess with her fate at all even if she got the chance to go back in time because though today is a good day, tomorrow could be bad. it’s even more ironic how she says that even though she’s an altered timeline version of herself. makes me wonder which timeline will be the “right” one in the end and if there even is such a thing. that’s why I also rlly agree with what you said in a previous reaction of this, abt how sol should just enjoy the moment when she’s in the past instead of worrying so much abt messing things up but yeah ! I like this drama’s overall theme of being present and appreciating what we have in the moment because we don’t know how the future will be

Yay! I really loved this episode (other than the end obviously). Sunjae's down-badism is one of the things that makes this show so special. Yeah, it was my interpretation that the suicide angle was a misdirect. I say that because it looked like someone knocked on the door before he died in the original timeline. He was responsible for Im Sols attackers capture in the original timeline so He probably was looking for revenge. So now that Sol is aware that her attacker is the one who murdered Sunjae, wonder how that will change her behavior with that last time slip? Also that smooch 👌

Lady Claire

Sun Jae is the king of loser-ism and we love him for it Lolol.

hey that's what we watch together for! it's even details i'm missing too :P

lmao when you went on that rant after she pulled away right before the kiss I was yelling at my screen like ''just play it!!'' xD Yes, I believe he was attacked in the hotel in every timeline, I don't think he ever actually killed himself. Also idk if you noticed but when he was showing her his medication, the thing he paused on at the end was the candy that she gave him. He still had it.

a2r

Yeah I figured some of y'all was probably cooking me when I paused lol, but see that gave ya a fun moment with me makes it memorable LOL. I did notice the candy in the glass jar! :D

The moment i registered the sad OST is Jongho??? I'm going to see Ateez in August and i'm going to let Jongho KNOW that i have beef with him over his Lovely Runner OST. My eyes keep welling up with tears when he starts singing. Jongho, Taeil (NCT) and DK (SVT) genuinely have the most devastating OSTs for dramas. They usually do at least 3 OSTs per year and they always play at the highest emotional points of the dramas.

A lot of people got frustrated when Sol pulled away from the kiss but I personally liked that she pulled back and end up being the one that initiated the kiss, the director did that on purpose, showing her love for him is now much more deep and romantic… speaking of the kiss you mentioned how in other kdramas they’re basically just pressing lips for a while and it’s funny bc in the behind the scenes, they had to film the kiss scene again bc the director told Wooseok (Sunjae) he was too “rough” and the director wanted it to be more romantic and for Sol to be just as apart of the kiss… some of fans were a little annoyed at that bc you know why lol but I actually appreciate this kiss more bc you can feel the 15 yrs he waited but also the fact that their relationship has changed and it’s much more intimate idk, this was my favorite episode for awhile ☺️

this was such a good ep, so many emotions going on. I wonder how she’s going to be able to go back if she doesn’t have the watch? (Also got so excited when I got the notification, but wouldn’t watch til now!)

Leading up to the kiss I just kept saying "Just wait", and then you paused it!! In my opinion, this is where the show turns up!! it just keeps getting better!!

a2r

yeah, cause just like her we're kind of made to be somewhat comfortable here since we've gotten here so i wonder where they'll end up! i like the theme as well

a2r

Fair point! n the director commentary, it definitely makes more sense because of the wait but also the angle that he liked her this whole time before the celebrity stuff, so it's always been that way for him he just couldn't act on it, right. Makes sense!!

This is so good and so frustrating! I had the exact same reaction as you in the kiss moment I was like we have too much else to get through for y'all to be playing games so I'm glad that the Love is in the Air because I have a feeling we are going to need it to get through the dark times in the rest of this show. I didn't even think that the original suicide might not have been the truth but that would make sense as a misdirect. It's tough to predict (probably on purpose) because we have no real understanding of that murderers motivations. Is it really as simple as he fixated on Sol in the original timeline and is upset that she got away and that Sun Jae put him in jail? Could be,but I'm expecting at least one additional twist to why all of this is happening. Another thing is I feel like I'm being misled with how comfortable I am with this current timeline, essentially as long as Sunjae hasn't just been murdered everything has been going really well but it's only episode 8 so I don't think this is the final timeline which is sad cuz I'm kind of attached to it already.

I wanted to add a few things after reading some of the other comments of things I thought were poignant to remember that stood out to me in discussions when I was livewatching the show: 1) Sol might be in her 30s, but she has probably VERY little dating experience as a disabled person in Korea. It is a VERY ableist society as we can tell from the fact that there were NO accomodations at the job from the first time line. So the hesitance/instinctual withdrawl from someone coming in to kiss you that you didn't expect checks out to be like "huh?" then with the pause from Sunjae (TO WAIT FOR CONSENT?! WE LOVE TO SEE IT!) it makes sense that it all takes a second to register and for her to then go for it. Also, just writing wise I like that it's Sol who is the one who has to make a step towards him to get together because he deserves that. 2) This was more for the first time slip, but I found it a nice detail how clumsy Sol was because lets not forget that it has been 15 years since she was able to walk. Of course there would be some growing pains. I have more thoughts but they are spoilers LOL
