At first I was also confused as to why she was able to say that she was from the future. At least for the first few sentences of "I'm going to change it this time, before I go back" it's pretty vague, she's not directly saying she's from the future at that point. Once she does say that she will go back to the future and he hears it, I'm not totally sure why. Maybe it has something to do with her being drunk. Or maybe it does have something to do with it being her last chance to go back, and she's given a chance to tell Sunjae what it going on. I think the only way to know for sure is to read the webtoon, so If anybody has I would love to know!! ImSol can sing the song with out time stopping, because the song exists. It doesn't matter that Sunjae has not performed it for her In this time period, all that matters is that the song in the current timeline exists, so she is not "spoiling" anything by singing it.

The OST for this drama just HITS. The way it actually plays a part of the plot is crazy. Sudden Shower is great and honestly becomes somewhat of a character of it's own in this show. I anticipate it winning a lot of awards. Shoot it was like number 4 on Melon daily chart for a while and i think is still charting. As for the logic - the song exists in real time now because he just wrote it, so she can talk about the song and sing it because it exists in this timeline. It's only the things that haven't happened yet that freeze time, not her saying she was from the future or anything like that. It's a VERY subtle difference but if you frame it like that it all fits to my recollection. I can't wait to get my copy of the OST. I'm excited to catch a few episodes with you this weekend woo!

Personally I don't think this one was as bad as the rejection at the hospital because it didn't really feel like a rejection per say. It felt like a desperate attempt to keep them apart not because she doesn't like him but bc she cares for him, which would probably be confusing more so than hurtful for sunjae cause he doesn't know why they need to be apart. And it also led him to question her actions more and ultimately realise that she's from the future. But I understand the frustration. The only thing the show has established she is not able to talk about is specific events that happen in the future. The song already exists at that point so it doesn't really count as something from the future I guess, although she technically shouldn't be able to know it yet. And her talking about time traveling also doesn't fall under specific future event. So it's not really a plothole, but they could have explained the rules more clearly.

I think the plot hole thing you were talking about is different because she didn't say anything specific like before (you will get hurt if you join this competition). She didn't say that she came back from the future to save his life because this guy is going to kill you, just that she's from the future. And I think she can sing the song at this point because Sun Jae has already written it. If he hadn't created yet, I don't think she would be able to sing it.

Yeah, I feel ya, it definitely was out of desperation and a maybe last effort to keep them apart but imo the idea of someone you strongly like begging you to just leave them alone, while crying hurts more than just saying i don't like you, find someone else lol. Interesting thought on the song being an exception because it exists, because that song is exactly how he was able to judge her not being from this timeline. Doesn't make much sense to me!

Yeah, I feel what y'all are saying but if he didn't play it FOR her, but only for Inhyuk, and he does play it for her in the future or at the Eclipse concerts - it's a sign that she's from another TL which I think is a bit of a hole.

Yeah, I can see that. To me her emotion and intention behind the outburst came across pretty well this time so I don’t think sunjae was as hurt and it was also kinda necessary for plot reasons even if uncomfortable to watch. I mean I guess you could see it either way, wether it makes sense or not is more so based on personal interpretation rather than facts in this case imo so I get it if you consider that a plothole.

I can’t say too much about the plot hole thing without giving what will happen in later episodes but we know that she only can’t say things that will or have happened in the future that doesn’t answer much but I’ll have to wait until I can explain further what I mean… anyways I just hope that you will understand Sol’s hurt, trauma and frustration going forward not saying that you don’t lol just a hope I have since there was a lot of discourse amongst kdrama watchers since ppl only seemed to care about Sunjae’s pain while completely undermining or straight ignoring Sol’s pain… remember up until now she’s practically had to bottle up this pain and is blaming herself for Sunjae’s incident and she has no one she can talk to about it so I hope ppl can understand her feelings and decisions 🙏🏽
