I figured it would be a waste of time for a poll after viewing the suggestions.

I want to be able to move a little more quickly with the decision so I chose based on your comments and some other factors.

I'll be swapping Sweet Home S3 with Atypical Family.

Why? I haven't heard great reviews about it and it doesn't seem like too many of you are interested anymore. This does not mean that I won't watch it. I just won't put it on the watchlist, so you very well may see those reactions sometime soon, I just won't secure a slot for it.

Especially now, I need to be doing things that most of you want to watch. Atypical Family had a few comments equaling nearly 30 or so likes.

Alchemy of Souls had the MOST comments/likes but that is a commitment I am unwilling to take right now (20 eps, 2 seasons and over an hour runtime). I also don't know if it's a show that people would come join/support for? I really need to focus on trying to grow and sustain right now with my current situation. (Please let me know thoughts in comments to let me know the show's popularity, impact and such. THIS COULD CHANGE...)

Queen of Tears is also a popular mention, but I don't want to run two romances at once. Will see if y'all are still down after Lovely Runner.

The reactions for that show likely won't start until the end of the month as my priority is finishing Lovely Runner. You'll see it replace either The 8 Show or Lovely, whichever comes first. 2 kdramas max rn.

I can only speak for me and my european friends, Alchemy of Souls is like the drama with the biggest following in my circle. I have no idea how it is elsewhere.

Hey Tali! I looked at the cast and seen the girl from moving and I was already interested lol. I did not read the synopsis yet, but I can entertain the suggestion once others share some info around it. As I said, my top priority rn is definitely growth since I can't afford to pay rent where I am currently living rn. I need to optimize time and efforts and work towards a goal so I can be secure. If Alchemy of Souls is popping enough to include among the likes of Lovely Runner/Queen of Tears in the kdrama space then I can check it!

Alchemy of souls is one of my all time favorite kdramas and I think you would really enjoy it but it really is a commitment so totally understand that itā€™s not the right timing, Iā€™ll be sticking around anyways so I can wait :D Definitely excited for Atypical Family will be my first time watching it

Also, a thought you might want to factor in (ask the patrons about) I am the patron for like 3-4 people that react to kdrama and ALL of them are currently watching Lovely Runner and Queen of Tears so I wouldn't give out money to follow someone new that's also gonna be watching these shows. You might wanna ask how many people want to not only watch the shows but specifically wanna watch them WITH YOU! šŸ’œ

dang i read this all wrong i was like sweet home starting aye šŸ˜‚ def feel like if u can watch all of s2 s3 is no issue. but šŸ¤ž for eventually. couldn't get into queen of tears but I'm still leaving the likes when I can when u post. haven't watched Alchemys those dramas set with that genre don't really be my vibe so I canā€™t comment on that one as of yet, but it is popular. and sheesh didn't realize it was that long already. i did watch Atypical. it was decent. curious to see ur view on certain characters. plus ill always like when a Kdrama that isnt the most popular gets a chance. lowkey the less-known/popular shows hit.

I think Alchemy of Souls is a great show to react to. I absolutely loved it and even rewatched the first season before watching the second season. I would be careful about uploading any part of the react on Youtube without significant copyright coverage though, because I noticed that a couple of the reactors I was watching react to this about a year ago got all their Alchemy of Souls videos taken down around the same time.

AOS is in my top 5 for kdramas as a whole so I am all for you watching it, but I do know it is a long drama so I understand the hesitation. I have followed people specifically for this drama and I do know that it is still talked about and asked for, but not sure how it will do for you compared to something brand new and trending as far as gaining more attention and followers. I finished Sweet Home S3 and tbh.. it didn't hit for me. I still watched the whole show and there were aspects I really liked and it did make me emotional at some points. But compared to the last two seasons idk how you will feel about it which was so disappointing for me since I have rewatched both seasons so many times šŸ˜­ I was thinking of watching QOT or Atypical Family since i finished Lovely Runner, so I would love to watch either with you :)

Alchemy of the souls is a really good show. I think you would enjoy it, but I would definitely wait since itā€™s really long. I donā€™t know when you are planning to start the new show, but August has a lot of new shows that are coming out. Maybe you can wait for those to drop and see what is popular. Then you can complete what you are currently watching, while waiting.

Just post all three reactions regardless of popularity at the moment. The people who want to see those reactions will do so. All this will do if you keep doing swap outs and pushing what people requested based on popularity at that moment and time to the back of the line, this will cause people to think youā€™re ignoring their requests and may decide to just leave the patreon or stop following you in general. (I only say this because another reactor i follow was doing this and was seeing people comment that if they keep skipping over requests they been requesting along with many others have requested as well, they will have no choice but to leave and not follow them anymore). If itā€™s requested (and more than atleast 5-10 people), just post them in the same area as everything else of that category. Whether itā€™s popular at the moment for a reaction or not, the ones who requested will still want to see it.

sweet home s3 was better than s2, that's for sure. alchemy of souls is definitely a show people would join for imo, from what i've seen on other patreons. the first season is great & i think you'd like it (the second season.....ugh), maybe whenever you feel comfortable try a test episode? but i'd definitely wait until you're more settled to start that commitment. i'm down for any of the shows, just kinda šŸ¤žšŸ¼ that you'll one day go back to pyramid game lol

Hey, I bet it's several reactors that go through this dilemma when it comes to covering anything! I get the request you say too, however, doing 3 dramas regardless at the same time is out of my equation. I get doing them in general, but that would be me doing slots, pushing things back etc as I am now. Unfortunately with reacting, the best results seem to come from covering the most trending topics at the time, which is whey that comes into play. I think covering it if it's out of popularity etc, is kind of working against you in a way, but also satisfying the possible few that may have wanted it previously. Thanks for sharing another perspective though! Do you have any additional thoughts to share?

I LOVED The Atypical Family, itā€™s one of my fave shows from this year for sure. But Alchemy of Souls is just different man. I genuinely think itā€™s one of my fave shows ever. Iā€™ve watched it like 5 times & still piece new things together. Knowing your taste in shows it hurts me that you havenā€™t experienced Alchemy of Souls yet lol. & I know for sure people will join along cause itā€™s just THAT show you can never get sick of. But I understand the dedication that it is so Iā€™m ok with Atypical Family for now & AoS later. But deffo if you can find a way to start AoS soon Iā€™ll be tuning in!!!

Yeah. What i noticed is when they just decided to upload whatever they choose regardless, people still stayed and watched whatever they reacted to as long as they uploaded whatever was requested. I think it just helps keep the stress off reactors when they are trying to find what works for them in terms of keeping their channel in good standing and to help it grow. I think as long as everyone knows their request will eventually be reacted to, i think they will continue to stay and help bring in more people who stumble across your pages. Because when new people stumble across your page and see you are reacting to something they like, they will investigate further to see what else you reacted to. But if the shows arenā€™t completed and just dropped out of nowhere, they will see the inconsistency and might decide to not stick around. It just gets confusing when the reactor says they will do one thing and then keeps changing it. Idk if you said whether or not you were for sure going to react to season 3 of sweet home. But i think people were just expecting you to react to it next because it will just complete the whole series to be able to move on to starting a brand new show. And i think they see it as stopping in the middle of one commitment to start a new one. Which will show inconsistency and unpredictability. This is why i see some are continuing to question if youā€™re even going to finish lovely runner. They donā€™t even know if or when youā€™ll just up and one day just choose to drop it outta nowhere to start a new drama.

I would be lying if I said Sweet Home S3 was amazing. It was okay. Still worth watching since you've committed to the series. I Loved Alchemy of Souls!! I remember I tried to watch it when it first came out, and couldn't get past the 1st episode. Earlier this year I attempted to watch it again, and once I got past the 2nd episode I was hooked!! It was Honestly one of, if not the most beautiful kdrama I have seen ( Cinimatically). I'm still watching Lovely Runner with you, and am enjoying it. I'm not quite ready to let that drama go!!! I am down to watch Atipical Family with you, I heard good things about it. But I started a new kdrama last night called Bad Memory Eraser, there are only 2 episodes out right now, but it looks very promising, based off the first episode!!

Makes sense! I don't think everyone's requests will be reacted to, but whatever wins on a poll or if there's something I feel like I must react to regardless (my own interest) then I'll post it! I get what you mean, cover what's desired amongst the current community, in general. As you can, add new things to appeal to new people to join the community. I said in this post that I will be watching the 3rd season regardless :) Only 2-3 people suggested/requested the 3rd season reaction. I think people were asking if I'm finishing Lovely Runner because I was doing 2 eps/week before I moved. The delay with my move and issues surrounding it slowed down releases but I've made around 3 posts and in ep 11 saying that Lovely Runner is concluding this month. If anyone's confused about Lovely Runner atp they're just not listening/reading. I also always make a post whenever I'm going to drop a show, last show dropped was Twinkling Watermelon and I had a handful of convos around that before making the decision. Everyone will know when a show is dropped, and it isn't frequently.

And I always recommend The Light in Your Eyes, and At a Distance Spring is Green. I know they are not very popular, but they are worth the watch!!! I know this is not what the post is about, but I like to mention these two when I can!!šŸ˜‚

It's a risk with all these kdramas fr at the end of the day. Things could be good for weeks, months, years then they'll just randomly come strike/remove out the blue. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the show, I think I'll hear a lot of that based on the reccs lol :D
