Honestly man, I feel so close to just giving up...😢😢

I simply wanted to share some of the content that is here for free, I see a handful of other channels who are able to do so without issues. I have no idea which dramas are okay, which aren't - the only thing I go off of is "Are there other big channels doing ___?"

Hundreds of dollars wasted getting these edited when I didn't have the money

I keep thinking that I am doing what I can to grow and make a better position for myself and here we are. Stressing in my life situation outside the camera and now I'm literally one random inch away of losing what I turn the camera on for.

I somehow got striked yet again for Lovely Runner AND a random SMTM9 compilation from 3 freaking years ago.

I’m so sorry man.. don’t give up though. I’ve been subscriber for a long while and i pay for ur patreon some months too but the one thing i admire from u is how persistent and hard working u are despite how many hurdles life throws at u. I truly believe u can get there one day with that alone.

This is very unfortunate. I honestly wouldn’t go off of what bigger channels are doing. Chances are they’ve been doing it so long or they’re so big that their channels just get by those checks. If you plan to continue to put kdramas on your channel, here’s what I would recommend; 1: edit the videos yourself. There are a few quite popular video editing programs out there that you can use for free. It may be time consuming, but that saves you the money you don’t have for an editor. 2: edit your videos to a fraction of the time the episode is. I’m talking like, 5-10 minutes of actual footage from the show. Then put a filter over the video. Making the video short will also making self editing easier for you. Just clip out the most outrageous or high energy reaction bits. Those bits will have the same effect as other edits, and if people want to see more they’ll head over to your Patreon. Self editing may force you to reduce the content you put out. I would look at what brings in the most views or has the potential to make you money, which is what I’m assuming you’re doing this for. I would probably cut back on some kpop content, find out what your audience is here to see: kdramas, western media, anime? And focus on a couple really popular or bigger shows. I’m not sure if you have a job irl, but you may even need to cut back more on some content output to not burn yourself out and make this feel like an obligation. You may also benefit from collaborations with other reactors. You mentioned you were friends with kelvii and I think you mentioned Lee at some point….maybe try to reach out to them or find a few other creators to collaborate with out there. Networking can be really important in growth. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you luck. Can’t wait to see what the next couple kdramas you’ll be reacting to will be. I saw mention of aos….i hope someday that makes the cut.

Damn that sucks dude it might be best to remove any show related content off the channel for now until the strikes expire and figure out how to do it differently maybe I’m not sure but don’t give up

Royal Yaya

Remove any show content. Instead just list some of the major shows you've reacted to in your intros. That what I've seen most reactors do. Or they have a little list in their about section of the video. Save yourself the stress of editing when you can just list stuff.

Ugh that sucks, I’m sorry Anthony!

i am so sorry Anthony :( it seems like it's just one thing after another recently and i hate seeing this happen to you. if i were you, i would remove all show content from the channel /: i'm sure it brings in a lot of views for you, but what's the point if it's going end up getting your channel terminated you know? i've seen some people post their reaction the first episode of a show and then the remaining go up on their patreon so maybe try that? heavily edit the eps you do post i mean like cover most of the video you're reacting to besides a clip here or there maybe? it seems like YT just does what it wants to do and some people get past the copyright claims and other channels get hit every time. i wish there was something i could do to figure this out for you. you're one of the channels i've been watching the longest so it really upsets me that you're struggling so much rn /: hopefully we all can find a way for you to get through this!

jam

that is so crappy :/ i’m sorry they striked your channel again. it definitely seems like bigger channels get to post whatever atp and everyone else gets subjected to random copyright strikes bc how are you getting striked for something from 3 years ago too?! i know the situation is super unfortunate right now but would still like to encourage you to not give up simply bc i know when things are right, you do enjoy reacting to content and discussing it with a community. and then of course, for many of us, you’re one of our favorite reactors if not THEE best reactor for the kind of content we consume. plus you’re chill, funny, etc like you genuinely brighten people’s days! i’m hoping this doesn’t discourage you into quitting altogether. i know it’s a really tough situation to be in with your channel rn and off screen with the new move.. the suggestions everyone has listed above seem to make sense for the current time while things are still being figured out. seems there is a general consensus to remove any show content as a preventative measure (which is super sucky ik :( so sorry) and encourage people to check out your patreon for the shows.. if there’s enough traction, ik it’s more work for you but maybe a crew three tier where it’s $5 specifically for kdramas like the crew too anime tier or $7-8 since it’s longer form content.. JUST an idea and only if all the show content IS removed from your channel since ik it took a bit to settle on how the current tiers are set up. i hope you were able to sleep okay and wake up with a fresh mind this morning. if you ever need to talk or someone to just listen, you can always dm me here or discord! i will attempt to not be so wordy but no promises 🫡

Oh no…I’m sorry things keep happening to you. I know it’s exhausting and it feels impossible to get back up, but don’t give up.

chelsey

i have no idea how copyright shit works, but the big thing i notice that's different about your reactions on yt & other peoples is that you have the show full screen & you little screen. every other reactor i've seen is the opposite (like they NEVER have the show full screen). they also show the scenes a lot less in general. it really sucks that you have to go through all that, though.

sey

:/// don’t give up anthony!! its what you have been putting out for years, i hope they’d really stop striking some random videos:,) keep your heads up!!🙏

There are 2 kinds of reaction channels 1. You watch something and then you say something like,,yeah ,,I like it ,,it was fun. That is not fair use . Never will be. 2. You watch something and then you comment , analyze , parody or educate. That is a fair use. Some reaction channels make the watching as short as possible and all the comments longer. They muffle the sounds especially with OST playing, distort/blurred/flip/overlay images. A 20 min anime should be at 10 min clips at most in YT with you analysing it. 1 hour content should be at 30 mins at most.

Yup! Looking into making anything in the future shorter and more altered now. I follow that guideline in anime currently.

Thanks Snax, def need it! Will definitely look into editing myself, I have a program but it takes like 2-3x the content length to edit down (for me) so a kdrama takes 2-2.5 hours not considering revisions and working on filming other things for here or YT just seems better suited for productivity, but you can only do what you can right? Thanks for sharing some perspective and advice, I do greatly appreciate it! Also, it's more so about engagement with the shows we choose btw, so if y'all pull up for AoS, then we'll do AoS!

I could try the first episode thing, I have also seen a channel do that. I just like the idea of having people who aren't able to join/pay have an alternative too cause I mean, that's where I connected with all of you here originally too. I'll be trying to learn how I can work on it myself for costs and do some video research watching how others move and whatnot. I appreciate you for looking out Chloe!
