A couple of pointers! -The director had an interview where he said a lot was cut out. Yuta talked negatively about the training process and it didn’t make the cut. Taeyong’s bullying was too much for a documentary so it was also cut out. The director said it brought him to tears. -When NCT debuted with Firetruck Doyoung and Johnny didn’t debut. They debuted in the next comeback Limitless. -Can’t believe we almost lost Johnny to the american school system 😔

I am commenting as I watch! Thank you so much for reacting to this! Out of all the kpop documentaries this one has been my favorite. It felt personal yet artistic and I sobbed like a child the first time I watched it. Taeyong has a song named “Ruby” and you should check it out. Also Yuta is making his japanese debut soon! For nct shows I would recommend Hit The Stage and Brooklyn Boys!

Damn Taeyong walking out the door hits different now 🥺🥺 Also yeah, Doyoung and Johnny didn't actually join 127 until Limitless era I believe so Firetruck doesn't have them. It's also crazy that Johnny could've ended up in EXO, they trained together and have a few pictures together. I think he would've been the youngest but now he's one of the oldest in NCT which is why he's so respected. Doesn't help that Taeil (the actual oldest) gets treated like the youngest lol

Aw man, it would have been nice to gain those insights. I wish they kept them. I didn't know that they were completely not in those videos! Is that something another group has done before? Just randomly add two members after the debut? I've heard Taeyong's track and album, Ruby was in my top 3 from it :d Thanks for watching with me and sharing that info!!!

Havent heard of those two shows either, I'll google em!

NCT's concept was to keep adding members because there was supposed to be an unlimited number of members. Nct Dream debuted young at ages 14 to 17 and when they turned 20 they were supposed to graduate and join another unit and a new member would take that place, Mark did graduate in 2018. Their 1st comeback without Mark was Boom. It was so rough and hard to see him not with Dream and SM ended up scrapping the graduation concept because if all of Dream graduated they would have no one in Dream so in 2020 they brought Mark back and made Dream a fixed unit. Triple S has a similar concept.

Yeri from Red Velvet was also added in their Ice Cream Cake comeback cause she was too young for the sexy song Be Natural. (At least that’s what I’ve heard). There’s probably other cases but that’s the only one I know of. As far as NCT goes I think 127 was the only one who did that. They also added Jungwoo after Johnny and Doyoung. APPARENTLY it might be a clever thing because they debuted as 7, added 2, then added 1 so it’d be 127 backwards but idk how purposeful that was. Especially after Yeri got so much hate for it, idk if they would do it again without a good reason
