There were so many good moments in this episode!! :') the writing and acting truly are top tier. Robert is such an interesting character to me and, sure, he has his flaws but he intrigues me whenever he appears on screen. You're so real about loving his voice! 🥹

Keep forgetting how much i loved this show

The dragon skull is terrifying

It's crazy watching this again cause my favorites now are nothing like they were when I first watched it. You really don't know who is backstabbing who and so you don't feel comfortable liking a lot of the side characters. This is also due to me being older of course, I can appreciate certain characters a lot more now. Jaime and Robert for instance, really enjoying them right now. I have this weird respect for Jaime cause he could be way more of an asshole, think Joffrey and Viserys, but he's kinda respectful in his own ways. Or maybe I just like the actor's portrayal.

I think Loras from House Tyrell has power because of their money but I'm not sure if that would make him a bigger power than the Baratheon's. Especially since the Baratheon is ruling rn. I loved the scene of littlefinger and the spider going back and forth on who had the most Intel. It sort of felt like friendly competition even though the petty energy was there Robert's actor has a great king's voice; it booms and carries. Though I like Cersei's voice too. There's something in the way that she speaks. Its soft but powerful because her undertone will change depending on how she wants to come across. Kind of reminds me of a snow queen

The conversation between Varys and Littlefinger is so funny, I love how they taunt each other

- i write with the notebook sideways too! - i’m unsure on who holds more “power” between loras tyrell and renly… maybe it’s renly? since renly is 4th in line to become king so politically he’d have more power since his brother is the king? however loras comes from house tyrell which we can only assume is at least richer than him/the baratheons bc the richest family thus far seems to be the lannisters (since the crown is in debt to tywin lannister, father of cersei/jaime 🤦🏽‍♀️) so um yeah all i got from this is loras is rich but renly is related to the king aka i have no clue LMAO - ahhh i see why you asked now, tbh i just assumed he was rich regardless of the side hustle they’re doing with jousting, based on his house and the way he was speaking… it would be weird to throw it in his face if he was rich solely based off their mutual hustle.. - cat’s sister is a character that’s for sure………….💀 i enjoyed all your commentary this ep and love seeing your thought process as you go through this show, so this has been another fun watch! ty!!

VERTICILE

Viserys didn't kill Ned's sister bro, she died during Robert Baratheon's rebellion (17 years before the show starts) when Viserys & Daenerys were both children He wants to kill them because the Targaryens were the kings of westeros for 100s of years before Robert stole the crown, and he's worried that if they return to Westeros with an army the common people might rally behind them. Now that Daenerys is pregnant it's becoming a reality

Oh I thought she died because of Viserys or their brother or something because it seemed like he had something against the Targaryens and said that they took her from him.

VERTICILE

You're right I didn't actually know if you knew that or not so I didn't want to say. It is partly because of that and partly because of what i mentioned Without spoiling anything i'll just say that yeah, Daenerys and Viserys' older brother Rhaegar had a hand in Lyanna stark's death
