Hey y'all!

I am wanting to throw up some movie reactions for y'all this month. Tis the season, I'm also open to checking out some Christmas movies, so please drop some suggestions below. Primarily request things that you'd watch along with me, I'm looking for company in these reactions!

The movies do NOT have to be korean or anime, but I'm open to them as usual

Examples of Christmas movies I've seen for sure: Elf, Home Alone (all), The Polar Express, Last Christmas, The Santa Claus.

I'd also love to watch some animated movies, after watching The Wild Robot I thought I'd love to do some of those with y'all.

Leave a like on the comments/request you agree with! Will look into the most popular ones.

Animated, Holiday, preferred - open to anything else. Put me on! I haven't seen a lot of stuff. Would love if they are iconic movies that would perform well here and on YouTube - that would be great!

I may do 3, because I have a requested movie already that's due for Dec.

There’s a movie called Monkey Man that’s produced by Jordan Peele and directed by Dev Patel on Peacock & it’s so amazing!!!

I seen Monkey Man the day it dropped! Was tough, some parts were hard to understand dialogue wise but it was good!

My guy, this is not remotely Christmas themed but have you ever seen train to busan? It's such a good movie. But for holiday some suggestions I have are : Klaus(2019, animated), Jack Frost(1998), Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey(2020), The year without a Santa claus (1974, animated), and Friday after next (2002) (heheh)

Some Holiday movies that my family and I watch every year are National Lampoons' Christmas Vacation, and A Christmas Story, and I personally like to watch the old claymations of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (1964), Santa Clause is Comin to Town (1970), Jack Frost (1979), and The Little Drummer Boy (1968) And The Polar Express and A Charlie Brown Chrismas are classics!! I would also like to recommend Rise of the Guardians (2012) if you haven't already seen it. It's not exactly Chrismas, but it does involve childhood fantasy figures like Santa Claus, and Jack frost!!

& just for a random, non holiday, korean movie: Night In Paradise!!! i saw bris just reacted to it too, it's great.

Yoo Lee

Love actually (2003) is Comedy/Romance with Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Liam Neeson and Keira Knightley and more. Used to be my favorite movie to watch around christmas time growing up besides Home Alone and Harry Potter haha

skye

not a Christmas movie, but i highly recommend the Lord of the Rings trilogy! :')

avocadoetarts

not a christmas themed but an adventure-action/comedy the pirates: the last royal treasure - the cast are i'm sure familiar to you- han hyo joo (our girl from w:two worlds and mama katsu from moving), lee kwang soo (from running man, the tall guy), chae soo bin (from i am not a robot and when the phone rings), sehun from exo and many more. this is a great, fun watch and even though it's not necessarily a christmas themed i think it will still fit the vibes of holiday of being fun and light film. i think you'll like this one, it's also on netflix.

imani

chelsey

ooo, rise of the gardians is a good christmas vibe (prime) 💯i surprisingly dont see much people talk about it. the christmas chronicles 1-2 (netflix) i enjoyed as well.

Holly

If you're open to a New Year's movie, Us and Them is really good! It's a Chinese film on Netflix, and it's one of my faves!

idk idk

I don't know if you have seen these movies, but I would recommend The Nightmare Before Christmas, Rise of the Guardians, or a classic Christmas movie, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

They Cloned Tyrone was GREAT! Watched it the day it came out -- sadly already seen the Maze Runner series and Hunger Games -- loved those! Have not seen Salt or most other popular series though

chelsey

omg i second this!! and i agree, it definitely still gives those vibes bc of the setting, even if i wouldn't necessarily classify it as one.
