This version of SHINee's Replay was an unexpected rollercoaster of emotions.

this was near the end of a 3.5 long concert. the fans prepared a surprise for them and Jonghyun started crying when he saw it. The main reason why there's been less SHINee last few years is because of 2 Military hiatuses, but they make as many group comeback as they can. SHINee is 2nd gen and EXO is 3rd gen, SHINee was created to be an experimental group that was never meant to last but the members fought like H*LL for everything they accomplished and defeated the odds. they were never treated well by SM, and when SM debuted EXO (the group SM actually wanted and the one they did all the experiment on SHINee for..) they shipped SHINee off to Japan for a year to get them out of the way, even though they were in the Hight of their popularity in Korea and that sabotaged them in a BIG way. But SHINee, again, did the best with what they were given and became HUGE in Japan. They are SO popular there that the Japanese don't even consider them t be foreign artists and they even sold out TOKYO DOME for 3 days straight for a FAN MEET(!) in 2018. but even with SHINee CONSTENTELY proving themselves to be irreplaceable, SM never stopped neglecting them and not giving them even half of what they gave their other boy groups. at least their Japanese company treats them better, their Japanese discography is almost as large as the Korean one (and they only debuted in Japan in 2011...) and it's just as amazing.

Always makes me emotional watching this performance, think the song Replay has such a nostalgic quality to it anyways so to see the members get so emotional warms my heart, very proud of them and all they’ve achieved and glad they took a moment to appreciate the fans who helped them grow by singing acapella with them at the end, love your reaction, I was tearing up again watching this!
