No, I said MMA not MAMA, I thought you knew what it stands for but it just made the reaction more funny haha. To be fair, at least 3 out of 5 SHINee members have six packs (Minho is the first one that got it and he's been flashing it here and there since like 2013, then it was Jonghyun, and recently Taemin also went viral for his) so it wouldn't be too far off having them appear on some martial arts/body building event lmao. Melon awards is basically the second biggest yearly music awards show after Mama. Fun fact this was the 15th consecutive MMA as well as SHINee's 15th year anniversary, it also marked exactly 10 years since SHINee's Artist Of The Year win at the 2013 Melon (5th year in the industry) so their appearance was quite special and symbolic for both SHINee and Melon. Moreover, they won performance of the year award at this show for their newest tour SHINee World VI performances last year. Onew was on hiatus due to health reasons for over a year since after Hard release last year so the 3 of them have been promoting that whole time and even embarked on their 6th concert tour, but he recently came back and peformed concerts as 4 as well as at this other show that I linked under your previous reaction so please check that out next! It's got full Sherlock and Hard stages, as well as shorter versions of Lucifer and Ring Ding Dong! It's the most concurrent that you'll get plus more live vocals than MMA, pretty much all of it is live. SHINee at HangoutWithYoo? (2024): https://youtu.be/5UoDn3xAe6k

2:20 'SHINee's selection' was a part to go back the memory lane and briefly perform some of their older hits: Taemin - Sherlock, Minho - View, Key - Dream Girl and lastly all of them - Everybody. But they definitely focus more on the newer releases like Don't Call Me and Hard not just here but in most of their recent performances. SHINee is basically in their new era and that is the statement that the recent song/concept choices are trying to achieve. 3:48 you watched an encore stage for Dream Girl here on Patreon! :D it's the one where Jonghyun is singing doing push-ups, but you haven't reacted to the MV yet, as well as Everybody these are some of their most iconic older hits so definitely check them out! Everybody was their EDM/dubstep fusion era and probably their most 'hyper' title track to date, it's very performance oriented as you could see from just a small bit of the crazy 'propeller' formation, there are many jaw-dropping performances of Everybody. There's no other choreography like that. 7:07 Don't Call Me is the title track of their 7th full studio album released in 2021 and was their first comeback after around 3 years break when Onew, Key and Minho returned from the military. It also sort of marks the new musical direction with the harder hip-hop approach that they then continued with Hard in 2023. DCM was originally meant to be a BoA solo song and possibly a Got The Beat song but eventually ended up with SHINee (thanks to Minho asking Lee Soo Man after Boa rejected it lol).

Don't call me was their 2021 comeback title track, it has an MV and here's a great performance of it - https://youtu.be/N3103Su_-cM?si=M2kgo95bY5ZMIJcw
