Hey, guys! Yeah, I'm still alive and I hope you all are, too. A lot has happened both in the art world and in my personal life that has severely stunted my art as a whole and it's only fair to FINALLY give you guys a heads up. I left my crappy post-Japan job and became a Graphic Designer / Multimedia Specialist, finally found some work/life balance, and as of May I started going to animation school (which has been the biggest eye-opener). The class will end this Tuesday, but I hope to continue taking classes in the near future!

But the new job is a lot more high-stakes than my old one and I'm already feeling imposter syndrome settling in. I want to take more time to brush up on my Adobe skills and hopefully review all my animation notes / take another class, so I need more time to myself. 

But I haven't forgotten about you guys! Life just gets in the way. So I'll be on hiatus until further notice. This account will be paused starting today and you will not be billed this month. Ironically, my last assignment will be a head turn due Sunday and we can animate any character we want sooooo ... if it's good I'll post it here.

Thanks for the head's up! Hoping and praying that your life is going better and you will be able to kill those classes! (Know what you mean. I ended up the default 3D CAD and printing person at work, but of a challenge there! Sure is easy to 'Dali-ize' something really fast! Thank the software folks for infinite undo...) You hang in there and keep on Zoot'in, when you can. (I need a squirrel commish some day, but am patient. :) As for Patreon, I'm in it to support you and your endeavors, not for a list of perqs. Happy to support, as long as you're staying with us and dropping a note now and then. Stay safe, best with classes and the job! Stu the battiest!

This is one of those Jekyll and Hyde situations for me. The majority is thrilled that you are moving ahead with what you want to do, but a small part is worried you won’t come back to us XD. But on that point, please understand that we will be here for you whenever you feel ready to return, and that we want what’s best for you!!

We can wait Qal and I'd love to see how you've improved after going to animation school. Invest in it and you might be able to intern in a animation studio (wouldn't be a blast to intern at Disney? ^^) and find a job there. That's what my daughter did and she has found a lot of happiness in her job despite the long hours. She's been involved in the animation industry and was on the team that animated shows for Disney and Netflix for the last three years. In fact, her name appears as one of the animators in Netflix's Second Season of Hilda.

It's cool. We're glad you got a new and fulfilling job. Hopefully, imposter syndrome goes away and you'll settle in quite nicely 🙃 Honestly, you don't have to post art when you update. Just knowing what's going on with you and keeping in touch is good enough 😀 We hope for the best. One step at a time and the next thing you know, you're in WDAS 😮
