Not gonna lie!... Twilight of The Gods is taking TWO DUMPS on this Vox Machina season. Episode 1 of TOTG was so much better than all 3 of these episodes combined that it hurts.. I loved last season and season 1. This start.... Was a little disappointing, no lie. TOTG comparison really hurt, but it's this random "Let's all fuck and fall in love" shit that has me checked out ALREADY. And the quality dropped. Animation isn't crisp and clean anymore, and neither is vocal quality. It's like they wanted to the Xmen97 thing with an old school look and feel, but it feels cheap to me. All in all, at least it will be done this month 🤷

Rod Faulkner

The main dragon, Thordak, is voiced by actor Lance Reddick who passed away in March 2023. He was in so many great films and TV shows including: The front desk manager of The Continental in John Wick. He was also on the show Fringe as Philip Broyles. Very talented man. The 3rd season opener is dedicated to Mr. Reddick.

I need an update on this opinion now that the season is over

It's not over yet, chief. But for your update... Nothing changes what I said about each individual part. The 1st part was annoying and a step back, in my opinion. 2nd release was OK. Great action throughout, but all the plot lines and character relationship stuff were just dogwater, to me. The culmination of everything I disliked about the first 6 episodes Made the 3rd release EPIC, however lol. I like that they built it all up just to take it away. The story is still in a pretty stale position, but at least we are moving forward beyond Thordak now. It's not the worst thing ever, but no, I haven't truly enjoyed this season beyond the action scenes... Oh! And the Devil/D'arby. That episode was cool.
