Aoi was Sakura and Rin’s mom, as a reminder. Kariya loved Aoi, but that shit at the end basically pushed him off the deep end. Tragic comedy.

Eh it depends, Zero was more Mature wise, but Heavens Feel which is after UBW has been highly credited as the best Fate, also the best reviewed one. So who knows tbh. I have a strong feeling they’ll like Fate Stay a lot more than Zero anyways

I would say it depends on your overall preference cause Zero is more dialogue heavy than UBW so if you're not into that than UBW might appeal to you more. Heavens Feel is the best of both though imo.

All you niggas saying UBW is better is pure CAPPIN'. UBW is just as slow, the fights aren't any more epic than Zero's, and the characters aren't nearly as interesting. Rin is still best girl, tho. Sure, they might ALSO enjoy UBW, but it is a far inferior product that does not reach the same highs as F/0.

I honestly don't believe they'll enjoy it more just because there's less talking. And there is literally only ONE more fight in UBW than in F/0 (Edit: There is a ton of little action throughout, but it's too little to get hype about. A lot of the fights and deaths are unsatisfying, as well.) THIS episode, yes, they misunderstood a few things. On the whole, they've enjoyed the dialogue and the characters. The only other thing they've "struggled with" is the KKK(Kirei/Kariya/Kiritsugu) and the BS between the families. Which, sure, it's important, but not necessary to enjoy the show. The pacing of UBW is gonna kill them. The fact it feels like Rin is the MC is gonna kill them. Shirou being a bland, basic, frustrating MC is gonna kill them. The animation is BEAUTIFUL, like wow! But they're not monkeys that dance to jingling coins and flashing lights. There's little substance to UBW, and they're gonna piss even more fans of Fate off when they're shitting on Rin for being bossy and contradictory, and hate on Shirou because he's useless AF for the first 19 episodes. Just saying, don't be surprised when 5 episodes in, they're like "damn... I miss Kiritsugu. He would've handled these masters EZ!". Well, yeah, cuz they're a bunch of kids instead of trained killers and ambitious greedy bastards. That's the part that they like 👍

I mean...that's just pure bias though as far as I can see. Reviews wise on public/fan reviews UBW is generally just .1-1 point ahead depending on the review metric, or even. UBW is certainly the more popular one, and based on overall viewership seems to be the one most people start with. Because they start with one of the three fate routes before the prequel. And honestly, I don't think UBW or Zero holds a candle to HF 1-3. Kiritsugu is more interesting than UBW shirou, but not than HF Shirou. Especially if you /know/ what is happening to Shirou in HF and how close he got to becoming one of the most overpowered non-servant entities in fate. Though the above comment is right, HF was absolutely reviewed and recieved better than both pretty much universally. I don't see anything to shower a wider community preference towards Zero, honestly.
