The episodes have been pretty on par with the movie so far, but I feel like this is where things get cranked up a notch. I personally felt that there was more detail in this episode than in the others, and it is so worth it for the approaching finale!

Thank you for the reaction! I would like to comment on some of the things that Adam said that I thought were interesting. When Adam refers to Rengoku as the "better fighter", I'm actually not sure whether or not that is true. Throughout the entire fight, Akaza's main goal wasn't actually to kill Rengoku. You can hear him constantly begging for Rengoku to become a demon, and even the anguish in his voice when he does the inevitable is fairly tragic. I liked Akaza as a demon, as he seems different from the other demons in the sense that his main purpose is to just fight strong people and get stronger instead of just eating humans. Personally, I interpreted the entire fight as Akaza toying with Rengoku and more so trying to recruit him instead of trying to kill him. It's an interesting discussion though!
