I also didn't have the best first impression for Uzui, but the moment that sold him for me was the "Just how many lives do you think I've let slip through my fingers until now? I can't be like Regoku." He looked up to Rengoku and sees himself as inferior(at least when it comes to saving people specifically), which shows he has a good amount of self-awareness/humility under his outward cockiness/bravado. I also like his fighting style much more than rengoku's(tricksy/flexible instead of simple, pure technique). This is just my opinion/impression of the character, but most of his flashiness outward Persona came from him forming an outward persona completely the opposite of his upbringing as a quiet, sneaky, ninja. I think under the surface he is probably more similar to someone wholesome like Rengoku than we might at first think.

To answer one of your questions at the end(not a spoiler), yes uzui and rengoku were good friends. Also thank you for remembering to react to the taisho era secret at the end on camera!!!! Can’t really say much else because you’ll just have to watch and see. Also I think is the most expressive I’ve seen Adam (while watching demon slayer) . It’s pretty hard to surprise him to the point where he gives a big reaction but this episode had a few of them!!!❤️

Great reaction, as usual. But be prepared, cause it only gets better. As to the Master’s face marks, they are not marks from the sun breathing lineage, but from a disease, and you’ll need to watch the very latest anime season to know what disease this is. I think it’s also important to mention that in terms of social hierarchy, samurais (=swordsmen, feudal lords) were on the top of the pyramid until the end of the 19th century (except the emperor and the nobles of the court, obviously). Among all the hashiras, Rengoku’s family has been the only to serve as a Hashira generation after generation, and he’s from a samurai lineage (you can tell that from the language used towards his father, from manners in the season’s first episode, for example). In the Civil War era, each feudal lord had his own Shinobi clan serving him as a spy, so we can say that a ninja was always supposed to serve a samurai, in a lower and secret way, hierarchically speaking. Note that Uzui uses two big swords but they’re not a samurai sword, and the way he grips them is also completely different as Rengoku (Regoku, as being of a samurai lineage, grips the sword with both hands). So it is fair to say that Uzui respects Rengoku for who he is as an individual, but there’s also a hierarchy element in his statement “I cannot fight like Rengoku”.

i find it funny how Sarah always says something in the beginning and she has to retract her words in the same video xD like when she mentioned Rengoku needs to step up. And in this one, its not shocking for Upper Six to have killed 7 Hashira.

Well Daki killing 7 Hashiras might sound impressive, Gyutaro killing 15 also means that Daki had been beheaded by 15 different Hashiras in the past.🫣
