The collective Recovery Breathing at 23:47 says it all. This episode was INTENSE! 😮‍💨

Yet another Entertainment Arc episode where I am yelling and Adam's eyeballs are the size of dinner plates. This arc has 100% delivered, and I am both incredibly excited and terrified for what is to come in the finale.

Also, where did Zenitsu learn Godlike Speed? Did he develop that during their training at the Butterfly Mansion?

I would say Zenitsu’s godlike speed is probably a self taught move like we’ve seen before with Rengoku’s ultimate form that he used against akaza which was called “rengoku” and also Giyu’s 11th form “dead calm”. Just an ultimate move that you use only for certain situations if they call for it. Not everyone has one but they are cool to see whenever they do use them. Im not sure when he developed the move but I would probably say he got it when he was training with his grandfather since that’s when he was perfecting and mastering his breathing form the most.

I would suggest not to pause on intense moments. I feel like it kills the momentum. I understand the reason why you do them though. What other viewers think? Also I find 3 pause per episode fair enough, then you have enough information to talk about. But 5—6 might get too much. (Didn't read pauses this ep just felt like there were more than usually). However loved the reaction!

I was so excited for you guys to see this episode and i must say i had the same reaction as you guys. This fight scene alone puts it on top of my anime fight scenes list and i have watched hundreds of anime. The sheer budget just on this episode alone, my gosh. Phenomenal!!! Cant believe we're on the last episode next week already

You guys were both hilarious, I have to say I was laughing the whole way through To me this season is really good I think the themes mirrored the action really well all throughout - lots of talk about women, and beauty / slavery and the freedom to make decisions, I think it's interesting to think about Uzui and his wives as people that felt "trapped" or obligated to fight, since in their past as Shinobi it's inferred that they may of killed some innocent people and they say in their flashbacks they need to repent before they can live regular lives, and so, it's nice in a cosmic sort of way that they're the ones to get the job done as people who understand both choice and having no choice

Yup it does suck, but they do have to pause, especially for intense high action sequences. Even more when it’s the popular scenes that we all have been anticipating. They have been copyright struck in the past so they know how to tiptoe around it properly now.

“Music is math” what a line and very true in Uzui’s case. Also yes there are plenty of anime that will kill off established characters. I won’t say if Demon Slayer is one of them or not. I’ll let you figure it out on your own.

Wow we almost at the end of the season. Sarah you reminded me how I felt when I watched for the first time except that i yelled to my TV like crazy 🤪. Then I watched at the movie theater when season 3 started and man I screamed even more even though I knew what happened. Ufotable did it again!!!!!

This episode is such an emotional rollercoaster 😅. I remember the first time watching this being just completely speechless, jaw on the floor through the entire end credits

I haven't been keeping up with many of the newer action-packed animes so my opinion is probably a bit biased, but this is definitely one of the most intense, beautiful fight sequence I have ever seen. The only other anime I've seen that comes to mind in terms of artistically beautiful fights is Frieren (highly recommend btw, the art is incredible and it is very emotionally thought provoking). Also as a counter to having incredible music score in the last fight scene, that utter lack of music during Tanjiro's and the demon's conversation made it sooooo much more eerie and uncomfortable 😫😱

this is the first time you guys are exposed to truly beautiful fluid fight animation. like you've seen beautiful scenery shots and more but fight animation certainty is very difficult to perfect and demon slayer does it extremely well. Happy to know adam thought it was "epic".

Unfortunately, some of the most intense moments have the most issues with copyright. Most creators don't show the whole episode or will have you sync your own copy and even they will also have copyright issues, so for some episodes/ scenes, there will be extra pauses

truly AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER episode but the wildest one to me is taisho era secret trying to make hyperventilating, poisoned tanjiro comical 😭😭 like please he is suffering? i don't wanna see him in that state with cute background music, I AM UNWELL!

This episode is a stand out episode to me. I think about this episode all the time, ever since it came out years ago. I'm really happy you guys appreciate just how spectacular the animation for this fight scene was because it is truly a marvel. I've seen many anime and this fight is without a doubt one of my favorites, if not my very favorite. I've been anticipating this reaction for months and you guys definitely delivered! I'm excited to see how you guys enjoy season 3! Also, if you're both fans of excellently animated fights like this one, the anime Jujutsu Kaisen is full of them! There's currently 2 seasons and a movie (so plenty to watch) and more in the works. If something like that interests you both I'm sure many people would love to see you two watch it!

A lot of people consider this one of the best fights in anime...ever. So it does rank quite highly. Most demon slayer episodes, especially animation wise, are the cream of the crop

I always relate totally to Adam’s views and comments and his WoW comment is TOO TRUE lol 😂 getting wiped I a raid on the final boss and getting no loot was just demoralizing haha. This season is peak Demon Slayer, glad you both are enjoying it so much!

To give you an idea of how amazing this season is, here's a list of all the awards the Entertainment Arc District won in the 2023 Crunchyroll Awards: -Best Character Design -Best Animation -Best Director -Best Action -Best Fantasy In addition, they were nominated in every category they were eligible for: Anime of the Year, Best Continuing Series, Best Opening Sequence, Best Score, Best Supporting Actor: Tengen Uzui(!!), and Best Japanese Voice Actor: Tanjiro <3 . Oh and by the way, Tengen Uzui lost to Anya Forger for best supporting character! That year, the biggest winners were Attack on Titan with 6 wins, Demon Slayer with 5 wins, and SpyXFamily with 5 wins. Soooooooo many of us loved these shows, and it's lovely to see them get the praise they deserve in such an official way.

I understand what you're saying but as some people mentioned, if we don't break up the audio (and sometimes the video) the entire reaction is blocked. I feel that this is a small price to pay to be able to watch the entire anime together.

Wow!! That is impressive!! I'm not sure how I feel about Uzui losing to Anya Forger. She's obviously great, but they are soooooo different. I need to think about this...
