Love that Kotetsu was doing his best to help with Tanjiro's training even if the methods were a little questionable. Also, Kotetsu is voiced by Ayumu Murase who voices Hinata in Haikyuu.

These are the first kind of predictions I’ve heard people make about muichiro and I must say they are very interesting. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on him. Although it’s very hard to hear people say things about him because he’s my favorite hashira. I don’t remember what I first thought of him when I watched demon slayer for the first time. His crow did get on my nerves though

I think the line from Tanjiro confirming there was no malice in his behavior helped me not utterly loathe him. His crow can eat my behind though XD

[I posted this before I saw you brought up the Ushijima comparison yourself lol.] I would say Tokito has the worst initial impression of any Hashira yet(save for wind Hashira), but in a way he reminds me a bit of Ushijima. He isn't mean or cruel because he wants others to feel bad, he is just blunt and honest to the absolute extreme. The more you take a Hashira's time, the slower they are to go to the next mission, to kill the next demon, to save another life, etc. (I will say tho while him being blunt is similar Ushijima, Ushijima will apologize for his lack of tact and has some self awareness of this, unlike Tokito who donesnt care at all about you being offended by his words.) He is also the Hashira that Uzui was mentioning became a Hashira two months after first picking up a sword, compared to the two years it took Tanjiro to become bottom of the demon slaying ranks. He believes he is better than the other demon slayers because categorically he is(as far as skill in slaying demons for the time spend training is concerned). Regardless of all the context he is, unintentional or not, a jerk to people and his crow is THE WORST.

Wait until you learn Tokito’s backstory😉 Also, if you go back to the episode in Season 1 when we’re introduced to the Hashiras, you’ll remember that Tokito suffers from something similar to amnesia. He has difficulty in keeping his memory, he can’t remember what he’s just learned a minute ago, so that’s why he doesn’t know who Tanjiro is nor he remembers Nezuko is a demon. When someone has no memory of his or her past at all, there must be a good reason for that.
