A shorter OP/EP video for you all today, as the Entertainment District Arc wasn't as long as some of the others.

I love, love, love Aimer's voice (she lost her voice at a young age due to overusing her vocal chords and then had to relearn how to be a musician with the new husky voice that emerged). LiSA was likely dealing with her personal issues when the second half of season 2 was being planned. The Mugen Train movie was released in October 2020 and the Entertainment District Arc started in December 2021. The scandal regarding LiSA's husband's affair broke during the Summer of 2021 and LiSA intentionally stepped back from the limelight to work on her marriage. ETA: Sarah, the French pronunciation of "Aimer" is correct. 🎖️

I’ll be honest I don’t really remember how I feel when I watch the openings and endings when they episodes are released, but I don’t think I usually feel too spoiled just because I don’t have context for what will happen but I totally get wanting to skip it and stay surprised. I like how the ending was much more abstract in a way though!

Nice! I'm excited for you to eventually react to the Swordsmith Village Arc OP. The first OP is iconic, but the OP for season 3 is the one I enjoy the most by a pretty far margin.

Openings work like dog whistles, they signal stuff to people who know the story but it flies over the heads of first watchers. The Nezuko thing is a good example, when you watch the op a couple of times you would be like "Wait, does something happen to Nezuko?" You wouldnt be for sure, it just creates intrigue on what will happen and makes you come up with theories. I suggest watching an anime with the openings on every episdoe and see how you feel like, it's a personal preference after all, but don't be afraid of them, they can be great sources of unadulterated hype!

I like the op better bc I like fast paced song more in general. But I do prefer other season’s openings more.
