Oh LMAO this episode. First thing you need to know is that this episode got AGE RESTRICTED on Netflix when it first aired because the "content" in it was age-inappropriate which was hilarious. Tbh the writers were REALLY pushing the limits on what type of things they could show for a PG-13 show lmao. And the other thing is I like how they show Hiccup/Astrid's relationship isn't a perfect romantic relationship. Even people like them argue and misunderstand one another, which is a realistic depiction of a relationship. Props to the writers for being willing to show that as well. And the scrap metal line from Hiccup became a meme in the entire fandom when the episode was out lmao

Also, I should probably say this now BUT the twins have a presence in the next episode as well and it's about as story related as this episode BUT trust me when I say that it's the last lighthearted episode before we get into the best ones. It's more character development mixed in with a bit of story and it's fun so just bear with us. And they also have a moderate appearance in "Triple Cross" BUT trust me when I say although their presence seems unimportant and all they appear to be doing is just goofing around they are actually important to that episode's plot. By the end of it, you'll be like WOW. Triple Cross, in my opinion, is probably a top 10 episode of the entire series, and the episodes afterward are like 95% story, 5% everything else. Edit: I just checked and "Triple Cross" is the 3rd highest RTTE episode, only behind the famous Blindsided and ofc the series finale. Except for the episode Darkest Night which is an unusual but enjoyable episode. It'll ask a Q's that you probably haven't asked yourself about this entire franchise.

This episode shows even the perfect couple can have arguments and actually there's been a built-up for this because astrid starts fading a bit from episode 8 of season 5 to this episode and you can see that hiccup is for sure taking her for granted. The scrab metal line is just hilarious and it became a meme. Also dagur has pain fetish😅 This is the last hiccstrid centered episode and although it's a filler i think it's a beautiful episode or it's just me loving hiccstrid so much😅

I want to say that after five consecutive nights, I caught up to the entire how to train your Dragon reaction series and I want to say that this series is so so fun to have so many amazing moments that makes me love this series and now I’m fully caught up,and while this wasn’t really the best episode,I really did love that moment with hiccup and Astrid. They are such an amazing couple and I’ve absolutely love this show and I hope you have a great day/stay safe 🖤🐸🦉🖤

ep 8 of this season is the beast ep of this show at least for me i still get my heart beating fast even know i know what will happen next
