For starters, I already asked your opinion and help about the event. Then I thought that it's okay to make this. However, there are anime that are still ongoing and they are not on the lists of the websites yet. So I thought about waiting for them to finish and keep going with the game awards.

I mentioned that most categories won't have a set for them, but there are some that will. Because the category would be more fit for that.

However, I don't want to make something just for the sake of fun if you don't want that. I can have fun by playing a game or watching something in my room. It's okay if you don't want that, but I don't see any harm on doing it.

Most people don't read and don't comment on posts, so it's hard to know your real opinion. A poll can be wrong because of that too. Let's see your thoughts on that.

your OC i love so much her :3

Highly appreciate this poll way better than the last one, gotta go with the ones that actually have a purpose (set). Nothing wrong with fun, but not when they create a divide. Comparisons are thieves of joy.

Jayman

Lil fun polls like this is cool, u can see what others think I like it

Capone A.

I like casual fun. Yeah let's wait for anime lists to catch up but continue the game one.

Comparing stuff is fun,you just gotta not be toxic about it,which goes for pretty much anything. So in actuality it's toxicity that's a thief of joy.

Awakened

That’s actually a literal saying, not from me and it said for a reason, even if it’s actually toxicity. They say the same thing about debates being fun, but it’s usually toxic and therefore not fun.

It's really hard to say...I do agree with you said in the last paragraph you wrote. Is there any way to do an 'secret poll' (a poll where the results are not visible to the public; only visible to you)?

artkoikoi

No, only on google docs or something similar, but I think that the worst part of not reading something is that when reading the options people may not get the context of the what is being asked. At least that's why these are so descriptive xD

TheDoonPhan

Yeah, true: Sometimes people just vote for what they see/recognize without realizing what the vote is for, or just go with the popular choice.

Capone A.

It doesn't matter if it's a actual saying. What I said still stands. Depends on who you debating, the debate itself isn't toxic, it's whom you debate with that may be toxic. Debate with someone who you know is also just having fun or wants a good discussion & you good.

artkoikoi

Don't need to go too much over about it. There is true to what both are saying. Since this is not an honorable prize for a winner, it's just popular opinion I think it way less harmful than seeing a game awards that only a select few can pick the best ones. This is a vote for popularity and that's why I'm leaving the option for commenting what you like. So I'm trying to keep the "upset" to a minimum, yet I bet some people will be upset, but I'm used to people being upset.

Also thinking on it,the saying you're using I believe is meant for the individual. "Comparison is the thief of joy" I'm pretty sure it's meaning is don't compare yourself to others because you won't be happy doing that.
