Teddy convinces Lune to engage in some rare manly-macho antler sparring. Victoria is sick of everybody's shit.

Unless they take hormone treatment to prevent it, all AMAB deerfolk go through an annual rut season. Rut typically occurs in October, when a buck's antlers have finally grown in fully and shed their velvet covering. It's a period where a buck's testosterone levels spike, and with this usually comes an increase in aggression and irritability. Appetite and sex drive also usually ramp up. In the time leading up to rut, bucks have an easier time bulking up, and some may put on a considerable amount of muscle mass. Although rut effects everyone differently, it turns a lot of bucks, young and old, pretty much into loud frat dudes with a spiky hat made of knives. 

Lune typically spends his rut feeling moody and restless, and can be found either relentlessly practicing ballet moves or curled up under a blanket with a tub of ice cream. Rut season leaves Teddy feeling strong and energized, he spends it devouring half his body weight in food and playing tons of contact sports. Both Teddy and Lune, however, feel the standard rut-induced drive to compete and dominate other bucks. So here you go- Teddy and Lune can't bear the tension anymore and lock antlers in a JCPenny's. Poor Victoria. All she wanted was to spruce up her autumn wardrobe...

Antlered sparring is pretty dangerous. Most antlers are sharp, a careless blow can gouge out an eye. Head and neck injuries are common, and furthermore, two bucks can accidentally tangle their antlers so badly that they cannot separate without medical assistance. Does this stop most bucks? Fuck no. Heck, many of them get drunk first. 'Murica! >:O The proper way to spar is to draw a circle on the ground, lock hands, then headbutt your opponent with as much force possible. First to be pushed outside the circle loses. It should be noted that Teddy could flip Lune like a pancake, if he really wanted to. He just wants his buddy to have a bit of fun, that's all. And Lune is~
