"Wisani knew at an early age that she was different. Rather than menacing the sea like her other kin, she devoted most of her long lifespan to learn as much as possible of the ancient plane. 

Wisani spent years scavenging the sunken shipwrecks of old for all sort of artifacts and trinkets. Sometimes if she was lucky she could even find papers magically undamaged by the dark depths, though she had no means in reading them. She just knew they were important enough to protect.

In general, very little is known of Wisani's past or how her spark ignited, but what is known is that one day she came across a merfolk that changed her life completely.

This merfolk however had legs much like the humans and elves of Dominaria rather than a tail, and she spoke of other worlds and battles she has fought with toothy grin. The merfolk spoke much of how she was looking for a worthy apprentice to take over her role as a Queen one day, but sadly Wisani had no abilities or mettle that would fit that position. 

Wisani continued her years, now planeswalking to other planes and scouring whatever history that world may hide in hopes of learning more of who that merfolk really was, but so far the word Felldawn is all that has arisen in her search. Her favorite plane is the lofty world of Kamigawa, where she has made acquaintances with many of its pale long-eared inhabitants. Now she travels the multiverse, arching the smallest of details so that the worlds will be remembered for the future."
