You probably had the same thoughts (including a loss of a pet). And I wanted to say that you are not alone.

Today is the Orthodox Christmas, so it felt right to remember those who is no longer with us, even though these memories could be painful. However, time eventually heals it, more or less.

It's honestly a pretty personal theme for me, and I couldn't draw anything dedicated to it for a while. But in the end of this year I felt that I need to let it out, and this is how this short comic was born.

Those we love and lost live on in the memories we have and share of them. We smile when we remember the best of times with them and cry when we feel the loss. They are very much still with us, long after they are gone.
