Hello! This poll is going up a bit late since the 10th was a day off this month, but it's ready now.

In August we're gonna vote on replacing one of the older emotes in a different artstyle with one that better matches the rest of the set. Let's do the "swoon" emote. Currently, it features January from A Foretold Affair, that's the first commercial game GB Patch Games ever released! We can keep him in the new version or use the same emotion for someone else.

I don't think polling to replace characters is really smart... They're just going to vote to replace characters with new characters, and I don't think it's really fair :( Removing the rep from the older games is just going to make people not even think about playing them or wanting to play them. I'm already sad we've lost Peony, and I really don't want to keep losing emotes because the only people who are on the patreon are here for Our Life content. Of course they're going to vote for Our Life, they literally don't care about the rest of the games

Obviously, whatever gets picked is what gets picked... but why do all of the older games even have the opportunity to get replaced by the games who will obviously win??

They only vote for Bax / Cove / Qiu as it is. There's no way they'll even know who the characters ARE unless they stay as emotes :(

I know dulcie already said the same but I'm also pretty unhappy with the way these polls let emotes of characters from older games be replaced. I know most of the people in the server are here for Our Life but the emotes were a good way to direct people's attention, even subtly, towards the older GB Patch games. I know seeing people talk on the server about Lake of Voices is what lead to me playing that game and the first way I really heard about it was people asking about some of the emotes. And this idea goes tenfold for a game like My Magical Divorce Buereu, which isn't on Steam

I'm happy you appreciate the older games and I don't want to exclude people who are here for the those less known projects. But I want the emotes to be things people will use. If people aren't gonna use an emote of characters from several years ago, it doesn't make me feel bad. Emotes are for players, not to be promotion for older games. Though, it doesn't always have to include OL. There have been polls for a single game or specific character before. So, there can be chances to add older characters again in the future. But I didn't want to just redo this emote without players getting to vote on it.

I replied to dulcie, so you can see that, but again it makes me happy when people like the older games, unfortunately I'm not trying to promote those old games anymore and that's not how I view the point of emotes.
