Month End Post: August 2024 Wrap-Up (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

The last quarter of the year has nearly arrived already. There's a lot I want to get done before 2025 hits, but let's talk about what actually has been accomplished lately.

Monthly Content Summary:

August has been all about the Step 2 prologue. I managed to draft all of that and scripted a majority of it, too. Specifically, 7,750 words were drafted and 40,800 words were scripted. So, I put down a total of 48,550 words.

11,400 words were programmed. That was for Part 1 of the trick or treat Moment. Lately, the only scenes programmed per month have been the ones released for the beta. Soon we're gonna try getting ahead of the beta schedule instead of just keeping pace with it.

Along with that, I chose Tamarack's and Qiu's voiced lines for Step 1 and wrote out emotion/tone directions for each one. No VAs have been hired for the project yet. However, when I do cast the roles, I'll have everything ready to go for them to start recording.

I'm also in the process of hiring a full-time community manager for GB Patch Games! Nothing is settled for now, but when there is an update on that there will be a post about it.

And that's what I've managed to get done. It's great that I've been able to make consistent progress on the teenage time period. I'm slowly letting Step 1 go and getting more and more absorbed in this new mindset. Thank you to everyone who is following along!
