Here they are! 14-year-old Qiu goes by they/them pronouns exclusively. And oh no, I'm back at it again with the jerks because teenaged Autumn has a terrible attitude, haha. I can't help it.

Over-taxed, stressed, and ever-unimpressed, Qiu is still highly in-demand as company but they're considered hard to approach. Probably because they shoot down almost everyone who tries to take up their time. Qiu doesn’t have the bandwidth to humor folks anymore. They’re highly selective with who they hang with. But that (along with being strongly spoken, funny, and charming when they do talk to someone) just makes them even cooler in teenager land. Unfortunately, Autumn doesn't feel special, they constantly struggling with keeping their thoughts straight and are frustrated with their own sense of identity. It's a rough time. If the MC is close with Qiu, they're definitely a safe harbor Autumn cherishes. If not, than the MC is simply another blank face in the crowd.
