Our Life: Beginnings & Always - The Last Major Update (Patreon)

Today Our Life version 1.7.1 went live! It fixed the errors reported for Baxter's DLC and added a handful of improvements throughout the entire game. If there are any updates beyond this, they will only be to make minor typo fixes. Our Life has reached a definitive state of completion after almost three years!

To celebrate finally reaching this point, we had one last promo image made 💚

Thank you all once more for the kind messages and feedback over the dozens of months of development. It was an incredible experience. And though Our Life: Beginnings & Always won't get further DLCs, GB Patch Games will still be around to make new stories (like the upcoming Patreon bonus event)! We hope to see you around again sometime.

Just set this image as my phones wall paper. I literally grabbed this game to just try it out and then beat it within 3 days from how invested I was in the characters and the story. 2023-06-23 22:12:33 I stumbled upon ol1 completely accidentally but it was the best game I’ve ever played, I was always awkward and self conscious but this game was so open and welcoming I felt so SEEN. And while I loved the romantic parts the friendship was so important to me, especially since I am a lesbian. I was a fan for a couple years and then when I found out ol2 was on its way with non-male LIs I freaked out. I’m so incredibly excited to grow up with new faces. Although I still love cove &lt;3 thank you GB for all your hard work 💗💗

No matter how many times I say thank you, it feels insufficient. GBPatch has done an incredible job. I am grateful for accepting me into Sunset Bird and giving me so much love that I couldn't find in reality. And Addrossi's gorgeous artwork is the ultimate gift for us. I am personally not ready to let him go... 🥺😢. That game, that story, those endearing characters, that little piece of slice of life you offered us was like I have never known before. The way each of our choices influence both the story as it goes, our personality, our relationships and Cove by extension.... I am blown away by such a clever game system. Every time I play, I feel like I am returning home, where I belong. I feel so good, at ease, confortable. That game is clearly my dream life if I were to live in another reality/dimension. I could be who I dream to be, love at my heart's content and express my love in so many ways. I feel so blessed that I discovered your game studio and that incredible game. I have already played more than 400 hours since last summer and I won't stop because when I need my dose of love, this is where I take refuge, my own paradise. I enjoyed discovering more about Derek and Baxter through the DLCs but none can compare to how wonderful Cove is. He is my one and only through and through. Baxter DLC was my least favorite because I really disliked Baxter's personality and the way he was behaving. I unfortunately couldn't get attached to him, or feel connected to someone so closed-off, so distant. I can't even understand how we can fall for him in such a short timeline whether it is during the summer but worse when we meet again for Scott and Jude's wedding. Anyway, I can't thank you enough for sharing your talent with us, for taking our feedback into account, for extending Our Life: Beginnings and Always with so many DLCs for us to enjoy. My only regret is that I wish we could continue following Cove and our character through their other life stages because I can't get enough. Though, I know you have to move on to other games. Still, I will resume supporting you because you deserve it so much! You're an incredible team. Lots of love
