This is the proper version of the neighborhood as things stand in Step 2. There's no especially drastic changes, but time has definitely passed. How many differences from the Step 1 version can you spot, haha?

The Lin’s have new flowerbeds by their bottom window and mailbox; our house has a chair by the porch and a new fancy mailbox after “the incident”; and the Baumann’s have more potted plants at their porch.

I remember the mention of the new mailbox, but I spot a new bush in front of the Lin's house.

Let's see... More plants at tam's house, the mc has a different mailbox, and a bench on their porch, qiu's house now has a bush- both under a window and behind the mailbox, I can't tell if it's a lighting thing but most of the orange bushes look pink now, porch window at tam's home is different.... that's all I can find!

The trees in the background fill out a little bit more. MC has a bench and new mailbox, Qiu's house has two new flowerbeds. MC's bush in front of the house is actually a little bit shorter in the Step 2 version compared to Step 1 (makes sense, someone moved into the house and did some landscaping), and Tamarack's house has move plants.

I love the little changes 🥹🥹 really leaves interpretation up to players on what/why it changed. A different mailbox out front? Maybe someone crashed into it when riding bikes 👀🤣 amazing work as always!
