Mystique captures Blink (Patreon)

July is here!  Here's my first piece for the month: a scene from the X-Men series.  The scene depicts Mystique holding the character Blink, after giving her a sedative.  It's actually based on a scene from Exiles #51:

In the actual comic, we don't see Blink knocked out...it happens off panel.  We are simply treated to a brief scene showing Blink tied up and drugged.

My drawing fills in that missing gap!  It's also my attempt to draw a different type of KO.  Normally I draw either a chloroform scene, or an arm carry.  This is one of my rare injection KO artworks.

This is also my first X-Men peril themed piece.  I'm astonished it took me this long to finally tackle X-Men.  In fact...I can guarantee Mystique will make a second appearance this month!


I'm interested in hearing some X-Men themed ideas.  Post some suggestions in the comments!

Inyection ko, that is cool. For an X-Men theme idea you could draw an angry Cyclops carrying an unconsious Jean Grey Or maybe Deadpool chloroforming Rogue.

Pity, I'd have been quite happy to see a beautiful woman wearing sexy white opera gloves chloroform another attractive woman, but this works too :)

Excellent idea SC :) I love how docile and limp Blink is in the pic. And enjoy the evil glee in Mystique's face as she has the helpless Blink in her hands. Great start :) As for more X-Men ideas, sort of an X-Men idea but how about Rogue draining Ms. Marvel of her powers? It's an alternate kind of sleepy scene, where the method of KO is the energy draining.

I know, this piece turned out great. I'm getting so much better at line art. Rogue seems to be a popular character, so I'll definitely need to fit her in sometime.

I like the placement of her head, almost leaning against Mystique body. Fantastic work!

Final product turned out great SC :) Love how Blink is slumped against Mystique, giving a sense of how limp she is, KO'd. Also, again, love Mystique's sinister pleasure at having the heroine KO'd and helpless as well. Great work :)
