Magik and Jean Grey Chloroformed (Patreon)

Characters: Magik (Illyana Rasputina) and Jean Grey (Marvel Girl).  Emma Frost is doing the chloroforming.

This was an idea presented to me by a Superfan.  I love Jean Grey's classic green Marvel Girl outfit, and drew her getting chloroformed by Mystique earlier this year.  This is my first time drawing Magik.

I chose a pose that has become sort of a staple in my art now: the kneeling double chloro.  I modified it so that the cloth is being removed from Jean Grey's mouth - I like seeing the full sleepy face!

I think it's a pretty cool piece - enjoy!


Update (9/17/2021) - adding coloring progress.  The background is based on some Emma Frost artwork I used as a reference.

Mad Man with a Pen

Very cool, like the posing for both X-Ladies and using Jean's Silver Age costume. A nice touch is having her out cold, and the cloth close but off her face, while Magik is still getting her dose of the sleepy stuff. Good start SC, and look forward to seeing this finished.

It looks simply amazing, as always, the double chloro has really become like a staple in your art now. I'm quite blown away with how it looks. As your first time drawing Magik, it's spot on. Jean looks sexy in that pose too!

I love the line art here and the look on Emma's face. I agree ... having one damsel with the cloth coming off and the other with it still in place gives us the best of both worlds.
